OPB990T55Z is a sensor with a slotted optical switch that uses near-infrared (850-940nm) LED emitter and detector to detect the presence or movement of objects. This sensor features a 0.125 "(3.18mm) wide slot where users can specify the output logic state, output driver circuit, aperture width, aperture surface, and installation label position. In addition, wires or PCB leads can be selected to provide flexibility in electrical interfaces. The device body is made of opaque plastic to minimize sensitivity to visible and near-infrared external light sources that may affect operation.
