Description :
Stainless steel flat plate is a fundamental metal material in the fields of industrial manufacturing and architectural decoration, mainly addressing the needs of structural support, surface decoration, and corrosion resistance protection. This product covers two mainstream materials, 201 and 304, and offers two process states: cold rolling and hot rolling. It supports cutting and coiling according to customer drawings. Typical working conditions include the production of mechanical equipment shells, kitchen equipment liners, building curtain wall skeletons, and chemical container liners. By precise cutting and leveling processing, the dimensional accuracy and surface flatness of the board are ensured, meeting the non-standard customization requirements of different industries for material specifications and effectively reducing subsequent processing losses.
In terms of specification parameters, the thickness of cold-rolled sheet is usually between 0.3mm and 3.0mm, with a 2B glossy surface or BA mirror surface, high dimensional accuracy, and tolerance control within ± 0.05mm; The thickness range of hot-rolled plates is mostly 3.0mm to 20.0mm, with a No.1 acid wash surface and good mechanical strength. The material shall comply with GB/T 3280-2015 (cold rolling) and GB/T 4237-2015 (hot rolling) standards. 201 material has a high manganese content, high cost-effectiveness, and is suitable for dry environments; The 304 material contains more than 8% nickel and has excellent acid and alkali corrosion resistance. All boards must provide original material lists to ensure that their chemical composition meets national standards and supports spectrometer retesting.
When selecting, it is necessary to clarify the usage environment and processing method. If used in outdoor humid environments, food contact, or chemical anti-corrosion, it is necessary to choose 304 material, whose nickel content ensures resistance to chloride ions; If used for decorative or structural components in indoor dry environments, 201 material can significantly reduce procurement costs. Cold rolled sheet is suitable for processes that require high cleanliness for external tourism and require stamping or deep drawing; Hot rolled plates are more suitable for structural welded parts that have low surface requirements and mainly bear loads. Pay attention to distinguishing between the requirements of "fixed opening" and "splitting". Fixed opening refers to unfolding and cutting the coil into a fixed size flat plate, while splitting refers to longitudinally cutting the wide coil into a narrow band coil. The processing equipment and pricing methods for the two are different.
During transportation and storage, stainless steel plates should be kept dry and ventilated to avoid mixing with carbon steel materials to prevent rust caused by iron ion contamination. It is recommended to use specialized stainless steel blades or plasma cutting during installation and cutting to avoid excessive high-temperature oxidation layer affecting welding quality. In daily maintenance, 201 board needs to be regularly wiped to prevent fingerprint oxidation and discoloration, while 304 board, although corrosion-resistant, still needs to be cleaned regularly in chlorine containing environments. Common faults such as surface scratches can be repaired by polishing, and slight rust spots can be removed with stainless steel cleaning agents. During the processing, attention should be paid to stress release to prevent deformation of thin plates. After welding thick plates, acid pickling and passivation treatment should be carried out to restore corrosion resistance.
