      Application of building steel structure attic:

      Attic platform, also known as attic style shelf platform, second floor platform, warehouse platform, refers to building a platform in the warehouse and forming a shelf form to store and manage goods. Previously, the entire warehouse was required to store warehouse goods, but now only half of the storage space is needed, saving space utilization, investment, and factory costs.

      Steel platform structures occupy a certain proportion in industrial plants and structures, especially in large operation platforms in the main production workshops of pharmaceutical factories, such as the refining and transformation workshops of all steel platform structures. Nowadays, the design proportion of steel platforms has been increasing. Therefore, the design of steel platform structures should not only meet the requirements of process production, but also pay attention to the rationality of the structure in platform layout, material selection, manufacturing and installation.

      Layout of Steel Structure Platform Structure

      The steel platform structure mainly consists of beams, columns, planks, railings, and steel ladders. The layout of steel platform structures should pay attention to the following points:

      (1) Meet the requirements of process production operations;

      (2) Ensure safe passage operations;

      (3) Make full use of the allowable span of the pavement to arrange the beam grid reasonably.

      Steel platform columns are generally designed as axial compression members. The aspect ratio of the column should not exceed 150, and the overall length can be assumed to be between 80-120. The upper and lower ends of the column are generally designed as hinged joints. For platform columns that bear large loads, the upper end should be designed as hinged joints and the lower end as rigid joints. The thickness of the column base plate is determined by calculating the bending moment generated by the back pressure of the column foundation on the base plate, but it should not be less than the small thickness of the column limb and 10mm. For workshops with obvious corrosion, it should be appropriately thickened. The stability of independent steel platform structures is generally ensured by the support between columns. The support should be arranged in the middle of the column.
