Description :
Construction method of steel plastic geogrid:
1. The laying surface of geogrid should be relatively flat. After the laying layer is accepted as qualified, in order to prevent longitudinal deviation, white lines or hanging lines should be drawn on the laying layer according to the width, and then the laying can begin. Then, the ends of the grid should be fixed with U-shaped nails (4 nails per meter width, evenly spaced).
2. After fixing the end of the grid, use a laying machine or manual method to slowly pull the grid forward, and manually straighten it every 10 meters until one roll of grid is laid, and then lay the next roll. The operation is the same as before.
3. Splicing: The length of the section to be laid is measured by the length of the roll. After covering the entire length of the grating, the overall quality of the laying should be checked, and then the next section should be laid.
When laying the next section, the grid should overlap with each other by a net distance of one grid as the overlap length, and be fixed with binding wires before continuing to lay the second section in the direction. Similarly, the operation requirements are the same as before.

Steel plastic geogrid not only possesses the high strength, low elongation, high elastic modulus, and temperature resistance characteristics of geogrid, but also has good anti-seepage and anti filtration capabilities. It is a multifunctional geosynthetic material that can effectively extend the service life of engineering, reduce maintenance frequency, and lower engineering costs. It is suitable for reinforcement and isolation protection of road surfaces, roadbeds, water conservancy dams, and other projects.

Geogrid is a major geosynthetic material.
A high-strength reinforced geotextile strip is made by extruding high-strength steel wire (or other fibers), specially treated with polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP), and adding other additives to form a composite high-strength tensile strip with rough embossed surface. From this single strip, it is arranged or sandwiched at a certain distance in the vertical and horizontal directions, and welded at the junction point using special strengthened bonding welding technology (ultrasonic welding technology) to form a reinforced geogrid.

In recent years, bidirectional steel plastic geogrids have become increasingly popular, and their development trend is also unstoppable. Why is the development of bidirectional steel plastic geogrid so good?
Because it is more suitable for deep-sea operations and embankment reinforcement, it fundamentally solves the technical problems of low strength, poor corrosion resistance, and short service life caused by long-term seawater erosion of other materials for making gabions. It can effectively avoid construction damage caused by being crushed or damaged by machinery during the construction process. Bidirectional steel plastic geogrid is suitable for various dam and roadbed reinforcement, slope protection, and tunnel wall reinforcement. Foundation reinforcement for permanent load-bearing structures such as large airports, parking lots, and dock cargo yards. Convenient construction, time-saving, labor-saving, shortened construction period, and reduced maintenance costs.
