Liquefied gas storage tankRepair precautions:
1) Major product repairs should be carried out by units with corresponding repair qualifications.
2) Before major repairs are carried out, written notification should be given to the registration authority for the use of pressure vessels.
3) Before entering the interior of the container, repair personnel should follow the requirements of the "Safety Technical Supervision Regulations for Fixed Pressure Vessels" and prepare and clean the container. If the requirements are not met, personnel are strictly prohibited from entering.
4) Internal cleaning and replacement before repair: Use a hydrocarbon pump to pump the liquefied petroleum gas from the storage tank to be repaired into the in use storage tank. After the liquid liquefied petroleum gas is pumped out, use a compressor to pump the gaseous petroleum gas into the in use storage tank. Stop pumping when the pressure reaches about 0.05MPa. Then inject water into the storage tank, stop the water intake when the water level rises to near the height of the gas-phase pipe opening, and soak for at least 24 hours. Set up water seals and combustion nozzles, and use water pressure to seal the remaining air pressure in the tank to the combustion nozzle for incineration; Alternatively, inert gas can be used for displacement treatment. Afterwards, analysis of oxygen content and gas concentration in the tank should be conducted. The content of liquefied gas should be below the lower explosive limit, and replacement is considered qualified. After passing the analysis, the tank can be put into operation.
5) Develop a repair plan and approve it according to regulations, specifying that there shall be no human damage or structural discontinuity at the repair site, and ensuring that the equipment's intrinsic safety meets regulatory requirements.
6) Implement, inspect, test (including supervision) and record and report according to the repair plan.
7) The specific operational matters on site shall be subject to the requirements of the safety supervision agency where the equipment is used.
Heze Boiler Factory Co., LtdHaving multiple complete pressure vessel production lines, advanced tooling equipment is used for various processes such as cutting and forming, assembly, welding, heat treatment, pressure testing, shot blasting and rust removal, painting, etc. This ensures product quality and timely delivery of orders.
