The advantages of good weld surface formation, stable welding quality, and high welding efficiency make it the main welding method for tank production. And the connection between our company's manhole and manhole flange is also welded using a small-diameter submerged arc welding machine.

　　The welding of the cylinder has been completed, and the manufacturing of the storage tank has been mostly completed. The connection between the takeover and the flange is usually made using argon arc welding (also known as tungsten inert gas welding). This method has low heat input, beautiful appearance, and ranks among the top in various performance indicators of the weld seam among all welding methods. Generally, this welding method is used for welding parts with high requirements.

　　After connecting the takeover and flange together, the next step is to weld the assembly onto the cylinder according to the position shown in the diagram. The commonly used welding methods at this time are electrode arc welding (also known as manual welding or handle welding) or argon arc welding plus electrode arc welding (also known as argon arc welding, that is, argon arc welding as the base and electrode arc welding as the filling cover). The latter is generally used in working conditions where internal welding cannot be carried out, and requires a high level of welding skills from the welder.

　　The next step is to install support legs (saddles) on the storage tank to secure it in place. The welding of the support legs and the support legs to the cylinder body generally adopts double protection welding (also known as carbon dioxide gas shielded welding, scientific name: melting electrode gas shielded welding). The advantage of this welding method is high efficiency (compared to electrode arc welding and argon arc welding), but due to its susceptibility to welding defects, it is generally used for connecting unimportant components.
