　　1. Regularly clean the oil filter.

　　3. Water and dirt accumulated at the bottom of the fuel tank should be drained at regular intervals.

　　5. The temperature near the burner should not be too high, otherwise it will affect normal operation or cause damage to the burner components, especially the control box.

　　6. The area near the burner should be kept clean and flammable debris should not be placed.

　　Maintenance and upkeep of the heating surface of the main body

　　1. There are two maintenance methods for the heating surface of the boiler body that have not been used for a long time: dry and wet methods. If the furnace is shut down for more than a month, dry maintenance method should be used, and if it is shut down for less than a month, wet maintenance method can be used.

　　(1) Dry maintenance method:

　　After the boiler is shut down, drain the boiler water, thoroughly remove the internal dirt, and rinse it clean. Dry with low heat in the furnace (be careful not to use high heat), then divide the 10-30mm block shaped quicklime into trays and place them in the drum, without letting the quicklime come into contact with metal. The weight of quicklime is calculated at 8kg per cubic meter of drum volume. Then close all manholes, handholes, and pipeline valves, and check every three months. If the quicklime is crushed into powder, it must be replaced immediately. When the boiler is restarted, the quicklime and tray should be taken out.

　　(2) Wet maintenance method:

　　After the boiler is shut down, wait for the boiler water to cool down to below 70 ℃, drain the boiler water completely, thoroughly remove the internal dirt, rinse it clean, seal all manholes, handholes, pipeline valves, etc. tightly, and completely isolate them from the running boiler with blind plates.

　　Then refill the treated soft water to the safe water level of the boiler, and inject the prepared alkaline solution into the boiler. Its composition is caustic soda, with 8-10kg added per ton of boiler water. If sodium carbonate (soda ash) is used, 20kg is added per ton of boiler water, or if disodium phosphate is used, 20kg is added per ton of boiler water. After all the alkaline solution is added, inject soft water into the boiler until the water comes out of the boiler. After closing the water supply valve, pay attention to mixing the alkaline solution evenly in the boiler. During the maintenance period, it is necessary to regularly preheat the oven and circulate water to ensure consistent concentration of alkaline solution in all areas. An alkaline solution should be taken for testing every five days. If the alkalinity is less than 5-12mmol/1, an additional solution should be added. Wet maintenance methods should not be used in cold climates to prevent boiler water from freezing and damaging the boiler.
