      Inspection of oil boilers

      1. According to the Safety Technical Supervision Regulations for Steam (Hot Water) Boilers, if any of the following situations occur, the boiler should undergo internal and external inspections and hydraulic tests.

      (1) After new installation, modification, and relocation.

      (2) Stop running for more than a year and need to resume operation.

      (3) After major repairs to the pressure bearing components.

      (4) When there are doubts about the equipment status based on the operation of the boiler and inspection is necessary.

      2. Before inspection, the boiler should be completely shut down to thoroughly remove scale and soot. If necessary, the outer packaging and insulation materials of the furnace wall must be removed, and the key points of internal inspection are as follows:

      (1) The defective part was inspected last time.

      (2) The inner and outer surfaces of boiler pressure components, especially at openings, welds, etc., should be inspected for cracks, fissures, and corrosion.

      (3) Check for wear and corrosion on the pipe wall.

      (4) Check for cracks, fractures, and corrosion at the joints of the boiler's support and the pulled components.

      (5) Check for dents, bends, bulges, and overheating in the compressed components.

      (6) Whether there is corrosion at the contact between the pot (pot) and the brick lining

      (7) Check for scale and slag on the water side of the pressure bearing components.

      (8) Are there any corrosion or cracks at the interface between the inlet and outlet pipes and the drum (shell), and is the connection between the outlet valve and outlet pipe secure.

      3. The focus of external inspection is:

      (1) Whether the various systems in the boiler room are complete, and whether the stoker and water quality testing personnel are certified for their positions.

      (2) Whether the safety passages around the boiler are unobstructed, and whether there is any deformation or leakage of visible pressure components, pipelines, and valves in the boiler room.

      (3) Are the three major safety accessories sensitive and reliable, and are there any blockages in the connection channels between the water level gauge, safety valve, pressure gauge, etc. and the boiler body.

      (4) Whether various safety protection devices are sensitive and reliable in their actions.

      (5) Whether the auxiliary equipment of the boiler is operating normally.

      (6) Whether the boiler water treatment equipment is operating normally and whether the water quality test indicators meet the standard requirements.

      After inspection, a hydrostatic test should be conducted according to the requirements of this manual.

    Safety operating procedures for thermal oil furnaces

      1、 Preparation before ignition:

      1. Clean up the debris inside the furnace.

      2. The pressure gauge and thermometer are working properly.

      3. There is no leakage at each valve, and the motor is running normally.

      4. The circulation pipeline is unobstructed.

      2、 Ignition temperature rise:

      1. Turn on the circulation pump to circulate the heat transfer oil.

      2. The ignition and heating process of the thermal oil furnace should follow the principle of "one slow and two stops". Slow heating means slower heating rate. The second stop is to stop heating at two temperature ranges of 95 ° -110 ° and 210 ° -230 ° and maintain this temperature for a period of time.

      3. After ignition of the cold furnace, control the heating rate at 10 °/hour until it reaches 90 ° -95 °. Due to the high viscosity of oil during cold furnace, the flow velocity inside the heating surface tube is low, the oil film on the tube wall is thick, and the heat transfer conditions are poor. If the temperature rises too quickly, it is easy to cause the local oil film temperature to be too high.

      4. Precautions for ignition heating:

      (1) When the temperature of the heat carrier rises above 200 ° C, a comprehensive inspection of the equipment and the entire system should be conducted, and all bolt connection parts should be tightened to eliminate leaks caused by uneven thermal expansion.

      (2) Pay attention to the expansion amount of the heat transfer oil. If the expansion amount is too large, open the drain pipe and put the heat transfer oil into the oil storage tank to prevent the heat transfer oil from overflowing from the expansion tank and causing accidents.

      (3) The cold furnace ignition must first turn on the circulation pump before ignition. When it is cold in winter, the oil should be removed before ignition
