　　1. The safety valve should be installed vertically and should be installed in the gas phase space above the liquid level of the pressure vessel, or connected to the pipeline connected to the gas phase space of the liquid oxygen storage tank.

　　The cross-sectional area of the through holes for connecting pipes and fittings between pressure vessels and safety valves shall not be less than the inlet area of the pressure vessel safety valve.

　　When multiple safety valves are installed on a connecting port of a liquid oxygen storage tank, the area of the inlet of the connecting port should be at least equal to the sum of the inlet areas of the safety valves of several pressure vessels.

　　4. It is not advisable to install intermediate shut-off valves between the liquid oxygen storage tank and the safety valve. For pressure vessels containing flammable, highly toxic, moderately hazardous or viscous media, a shut-off valve can be installed between the liquid oxygen storage tank and the safety valve to facilitate the replacement and cleaning of the pressure vessel safety valve. The structure and diameter of the shut-off valve should not hinder the normal discharge of the pressure vessel safety valve. When the liquid oxygen storage tank is operating normally, the shut-off valve must be kept fully open and sealed with lead.

　　5. The installation position of pressure vessel safety valves should be convenient for inspection and maintenance.

　　6. The safety valve of a closed pressure vessel should be equipped with a discharge pipe to discharge gas to the outside or other safe places; The effective diameter of the discharge pipe should not be less than the outlet diameter of the safety valve and should have reliable support to prevent vibration or excessive additional stress on the container caused by the opening of the safety valve. At the same time, it is necessary to allow the discharge pipe to expand and contract freely, so that the medium with higher discharge temperature can expand freely. The exhaust pipe for flammable media should also be grounded with wires.
