Liquefied gas storage tankBasic requirements for material selection: Material selection should consider the mechanical properties, physical properties, processability, and compatibility of the medium; The material manufacturing unit shall make clear and firm factory steel seal marks on obvious parts of the materials, achieve material traceability, and provide quality certificates.

　　Testing requirements for liquefied gas storage tank materials: When steel plates with a thickness greater than or equal to 12mm are used to manufacture the main pressure components of liquefied gas storage tanks, ultrasonic testing should be conducted on each plate if one of the following conditions is met:

　　(1) Containing highly toxic and hazardous media;

　　(2) Used in H2S corrosive environments;

　　(3) Design pressure greater than or equal to 10MPa;

　　(4) Product standards or designer requirements require ultrasonic testing to be performed on each sheet.

　　Steel plates that meet the requirements of items (1) to (3) shall have a qualification level not lower than level II.

　　Welding materials for liquefied gas storage tanks: The tensile properties of the weld metal should be ensured to meet the lower limit specified in the base metal standard; When necessary, other properties shall not be lower than the corresponding requirements of the base material.
