　　Regulations on the Installation of Liquid Oxygen Storage Tanks

　　(1) Arrange items with the same or nearby fire hazard category in the same group.

　　(2) The tank group should be equipped with a fire dike.

　　1) The useful volume inside the fire dike should not be less than the volume of one tank in between the fixed top oil tanks. The distance between the vertical storage tank and the bottom line of the fire dike should not be less than half of the height of the tank wall. The distance between the horizontal storage tank and the bottom line of the fire dike should not be less than 3m to avoid the liquid inside the tank spraying outside the dike when the tank is damaged.

　　2) The distance between the outer embankment foot lines of adjacent tank groups' fire protection embankments should have a fire safety gap of no less than 7m in width. The distance between tank groups with accident storage tanks and adjacent tank groups should not be less than 25m, and there should be a fire safety space with a width of not less than 7m.

　　3) The height of the vertical storage tank fire dike should be 1 From Om to 2.2m, the height of the fire protection embankment for horizontal storage tanks should not be less than 0.5m,

　　4) The pipeline crossing the embankment should be tightly closed with non fuel materials.

　　5) At the location where the fire dike and rainwater ditch pass through the dike, measures should be taken to prevent flammable liquids from flowing out of the dike.

　　6) Set up two or more pedestrian steps or ramps in different directions on the fire dike.

　　(3) Liquid oxygen storage tanks should be equipped with level gauges, high-level and automatic interlocking blocking devices for liquid intake.

　　(4) If the feed pipe of the liquid oxygen storage tank is connected from the top, it should extend to 200mm from the bottom of the tank. Its purpose is to avoid oil splashing and increased losses when flammable liquids enter from above, and to prevent static electricity from causing fires.
