Description :
30 cubic meters of low temperaturecarbon dioxide cylinder The key process of manufacturing is welding, and special attention should be paid to improving the toughness of welding materials, preventing coarse grains and stress concentration. The entire welding process should be strictly carried out in accordance with the welding procedure qualification. All welds are of full penetration type, and the welding materials are shown in Table 4. Welding rods should be retested for the moisture content of the coating and the diffusion hydrogen content of the deposited metal by batch.
Before heat treatment, Class A and B welds should undergo 100% radiographic inspection and surface testing. After cutting off the temporary welding ears and tie bar partitions on the 30 square low-temperature carbon dioxide storage tank, the welding scars should be polished smooth and surface inspection should be carried out to ensure that there are no defects such as cracks on the surface.
After the manufacturing of the carbon dioxide storage tank is completed and all inspections are carried out, in order to eliminate internal stresses caused by welding and structural stresses caused by forced assembly, reduce the tendency of brittle fracture in low-temperature containers, improve the microstructure of the heat affected zone and processing deformation zone, and enhance plasticity and toughness, overall heat treatment is required.
Heat treatment is an important means to remove hydrogen gas from the weld metal and ensure the quality of low-temperature pressure vessels. When conducting overall heat treatment inside the furnace, the inlet temperature should not exceed 400 ℃. Heat up to 620 ± 20 ℃ and keep it at this temperature for 2 hours. The 30 cubic meter low-temperature carbon dioxide storage tank should be cooled to 300 ℃ with the furnace and then left to cool in the air. Mechanical and bending performance tests shall be conducted on welded test plates subjected to heat treatment in the same furnace, and the test results shall comply with relevant standard requirements.
