Description :
Before using a gas boiler, it is necessary to simply dry the furnace, boil the furnace, and dry the refractory castables of the boiler. After removing the scale and stains in the boiler, the boiler can be operated normally.
The operation of a gas boiler mainly includes four parts: ignition and start-up, boiler water filling, ignition and pressure boosting, and steam supply.
1、 Ignition and start-up
Before starting the boiler, a comprehensive inspection should be conducted, including whether the burner, related accessories, and pipelines are intact and in good condition, and whether the operation is flexible. After all inspections are normal, the boiler can be filled with water and ignited.
The drum should be filled with water to the normal water level, and all air and flue dampers should be opened first. Start the air supply fan to ventilate and blow the furnace and flue. The blowing time should not be less than 0.5 minutes, and then start the ignition device of the burner. The ignition debugging of the burner should be carried out by a dedicated person appointed by the burner manufacturer or agent. After the debugging is qualified, it can be put into normal operation together with the boiler.
2、 Boiler water filling
The boiler water should be softened water, and the water quality should meet the requirements of GB1576 "Industrial Boiler Water Quality" standard.
1) Hot water boiler:
During the water inlet process of a hot water boiler, the exhaust valve at the high point of the boiler and pipeline should be opened to remove air from the drum and pipeline until no air can be discharged. When the hot water boiler is put into operation, the circulating pump should be started first, and the boiler can only be started after the water in the heating system has formed a circulation. The pump should not be stopped immediately when the boiler is shut down, and it can only be stopped when the boiler temperature drops below 50 ℃.
2) Steam boiler:
Before the steam boiler is filled with water, the drain valve and main steam valve must be closed, and the air valve (or a safety valve) must be opened to allow the air inside the boiler to be discharged. Then, the treated softened water should be slowly injected into the boiler, and the feedwater temperature should generally not exceed 40 ℃. When the water level in the pot rises to the low water level on the water level gauge, close the water supply valve, wait for the water level in the pot to stabilize, and observe whether the water level drops.
3、 Ignition and Boosting
After the boiler is ignited normally, it should be slowly heated up to ensure even expansion of the furnace wall and body. The pressure should be increased from the cold furnace ignition to the working pressure, generally controlled within 3-4 hours. When the steam pressure rises to 0.06-0.1MPa, the boiler pressure gauge and water level gauge should be flushed to maintain their normal operation; When the boiler steam pressure rises to 0.15-0.2MPa, close the air valve and check if the safety valve leaks. If there is a leak, take immediate measures to remove it; When the boiler is pressurized to 0.2-0.25MPa, the boiler drum should be drained once. During the drainage, the boiler water level should be at the high water level line. After the drainage, check whether the drainage valve is tightly closed and whether there is any leakage; When the steam pressure rises to 0.3MPa, a comprehensive inspection should be conducted on the fasteners of the pressure bearing components of the boiler, such as manholes, handholes, inspection holes, and bolts of each flange, to ensure that they are not loose, and a hot tightening should be performed; When the boiler steam pressure rises to the working pressure, adjust the safety valve.
During the boiler pressure boosting process, the top vent valve should be frequently opened to prevent air accumulation and reduce boiler oxygen corrosion.
If it is a steam boiler, attention should be paid to the water level in the boiler at all times after heating, because the water level line will rise after heating. If it exceeds the high water level line, discharge can be carried out.
4、 Supply steam (heat)
Steam boiler:
1. When the boiler steam pressure approaches the working pressure, prepare to supply steam to the outside. The water level in the boiler before steam supply should not exceed the normal water level, and the boiler combustion should be stable during steam supply.
2. When supplying steam, the main steam valve should be slightly opened to allow a small amount of steam to warm the pipes; Simultaneously open the drain valve on the pipeline to release condensed water; The heating time is determined based on the length, diameter, steam temperature, and other factors of the pipeline, and is generally not less than 10 minutes; When warming up pipes, attention should be paid to the expansion of the pipes and the condition of the pipe supports. If any abnormal conditions are found, the heating should be stopped and faults and defects should be eliminated; Wait until the pipeline is hot and the condensed water on the pipeline gradually decreases before slowly opening the main steam valve. At the same time, pay attention to whether there are any special noises from the various components of the boiler. If there are, check immediately and stop the boiler for inspection if necessary.
3. After the main steam valve is fully opened, the handwheel of the main steam valve should be returned half a turn to prevent it from getting stuck after prolonged heating.
4. After the boiler is supplied with steam, the water level in the water level gauge begins to drop, and water begins to enter at this time. When the boiler is running, the water supply adopts a continuous inlet method, and the valve controls the continuous flow of fine water.
5. Afterwards, the accessories, valves, and instruments of the boiler should be checked again for any water or steam leakage. The water level and pressure gauges should be checked, and the high and low water level alarms and automatic water supply devices should be tested.
6. To prevent steam from carrying water, under no circumstances should the water level exceed the high water level, and the main steam valve should not be opened too wide.
hot-water boiler:
The high water temperature of a hot water boiler should be 20 ℃ lower than the saturation temperature under the pressure of the boiler network. For hot water boilers with intermittent heating, the circulating pump of the boiler should continue to operate during the intermittent period.
The safety precautions for gas boiler operation are as follows:
1. Before officially using the boiler, users must carefully study and master the boiler installation and operation manual, burner manual, and electrical control cabinet operation manual, and carefully study the "Steam Boiler Safety Technical Supervision Regulations" or "Hot Water Boiler Safety Technical Supervision Regulations".
2. The boiler operator must be a certified boiler worker, and other personnel are not allowed to start the boiler.
3. If the conditions are met, the safety performance of the fuel boiler shall be debugged in the boiler manufacturing plant; If the conditions are not met, safety performance debugging must be carried out by the burner agent and control cabinet manufacturer at the user's site. Gas boilers must undergo safety performance testing at the user's site by burner agents and control cabinet manufacturers.
4. After the installation of the burner at the user's site, the burner agent will conduct on-site debugging according to the various safety debugging requirements in the burner manual, and teach the user the operating steps and precautions for using the burner. Users must strictly follow the operating steps in the future and must not forcefully start the boiler.
5. When igniting a fuel (gas) boiler, unauthorized personnel are not allowed to stand in front of or behind the boiler.
6. Before igniting the gas boiler, it is necessary to check whether the explosion-proof door spring is in normal condition.
7. Users are not allowed to change the wiring inside the boiler control cabinet without the consent of the boiler electrical control manufacturer, in order to avoid safety protection failure and accidents.
8. The fire-fighting facilities in the fuel (gas) boiler room should meet the requirements of safety and fire departments, and the gas boiler room should be equipped with gas concentration detection and alarm devices.
9. When the boiler is running normally, attention should be paid to observing the steam (hot water) pressure, water level gauge, hot water temperature, safety valve and other boiler safety facilities. Once any abnormalities are found in the equipment, the boiler should be shut down for inspection.
