Characteristics and Explanation of LZS Series Plastic Tube Flowmeters There are two main types of LZS series flow meters, namely long tube type and short tube type. Adopting a plastic shell, it has the ability to resist 30% acid and alkali corrosion.

    Plastic tube float flowmeterThe main measuring element is a conical plastic tube with a small end facing downwards and a large end facing upwards, and a float that can move up and down inside. When the fluid flows through the conical plastic tube from bottom to top, a pressure difference is generated between the upper and lower parts of the float, and the float rises under this pressure difference. When the force that causes the float to rise is equal to the combined force of gravity, buoyancy, and viscosity acting on the float, the float is in an equilibrium position. Therefore, there is a certain proportional relationship between the fluid flow rate flowing through the flowmeter and the rising height of the float, that is, the flow area of the flowmeter. The position height of the float can be used as a measure of flow rate. Principle: The flow detection element of a float flowmeter is composed of a vertical conical tube that expands from bottom to top and a float group that moves up and down along the axis of the conical tube. Working principle: When the measured fluid passes through the annular gap 3 formed by the cone tube 1 and the float 2 from bottom to top, a differential pressure is generated at the upper and lower ends of the float, forming a force for the float to rise. When the upward force acting on the float is greater than the weight of the float immersed in the fluid, the float rises, and the annular gap area increases accordingly. The fluid flow velocity at the annular gap immediately decreases, and the differential pressure between the upper and lower ends of the float decreases. The upward force acting on the float also decreases until the upward force is equal to the weight of the float immersed in the fluid, and the float stabilizes at a certain height.       〔1〕 Before installation, gently take out the foam support in the instrument with pointed nose pliers, and then install it again. During installation, pay attention to whether the rubber washer is installed in the groove of the connecting pipe to prevent water leakage.

      〔3〕 The flowmeter must be installed vertically without obvious inclination, and its installation height should be convenient for reading the float. When reading, the line of sight should be level with the float.       〔5〕 The pressure of the side fluid must be stable. If the fluid is too strong and unstable, it will cause the float to fluctuate and cannot be measured correctly. A buffer or setting device should be installed upstream of the flowmeter.

      〔6〕 The flowmeter should be installed vertically, and the angle between the centerline of the flowmeter and the plumb line should not exceed 5 degrees.

      use:

      〔1〕 When using the instrument, the upstream valve should be slowly opened to full open first, and then the flow rate should be adjusted using the regulating valve downstream of the flowmeter. When the instrument is stopped, the upstream valve should be slowly closed first, and then the flow control valve downstream of the instrument should be closed.

      〔2〕 The reading of the instrument is shown in the middle of the engraved line, and the value is read from the scale of the float according to the height of the float rising.

      〔3〕 When the cone tube and float are contaminated, they should be cleaned in a timely manner.

      〔4〕 Regularly check the error of the flowmeter. Once it exceeds the specified error, the float and cone tube should be replaced or recalibrated for better accuracy.

      〔5〕 When the measured fluid does not match the calibration medium of the flowmeter, the reading should be corrected accordingly. Represented by the following equation
