      1. Product Introduction:

      2. Main features of the product:

      1) The steam load and flooding limit are similar to those of 500 type packing, and the flooding point is not obvious, so the point where the liquid volume begins to affect the pressure drop is often referred to as the flooding limit. There is still some efficiency when the steam load exceeds the liquid flooding limit, but the resistance is high, and the separation ability of the inlet packing is lower than the value, so the practical significance is not significant. Generally, the economic operating point (the operating point of the separation ability at the working load) is taken as 75% of the liquid flooding limit;

      2) Liquid load: Due to the strong capillary action of metal wires, liquid load is almost non-existent, but when the liquid load is less than 0.2 t/(m2 · h), it is difficult to form a uniform liquid film on the surface of the filler. In vacuum distillation, if the liquid load is less than 10t/(m2. h), it generally does not affect the packing performance, and it is generally considered that the liquid load is 12t/(m2. h);

      3) Pressure drop: Under normal working load, the pressure drop per meter of 700 type metal wire mesh corrugated packing is 667Pa (5mmHg), which is equivalent to 66.7 Pa (0.5mmHg) per theoretical plate. This is not only much lower than the tray, but also smaller compared to general packing materials such as 50mm ball rings. In addition, the pressure drop increases along a smooth curve with the increase of steam load, and even if there is flooding, it does not increase sharply, indicating that its fluid dynamics performance is relatively stable.

      4) Liquid holding capacity: The liquid film on the surface of the product is only 0.08mm. Although its specific surface area is large, its liquid holding capacity is very small. Its working load liquid holding capacity is only 6% of the packing volume, and the liquid flooding load liquid holding capacity is 8% of the packing volume.

      5) Mass transfer performance: The 700 type wire mesh packing has high separation efficiency, and for general organic media, the operating pressure is 2.37-40Kpa

      Within the range of 20-300mmHg, under working load conditions, there are up to 10 theoretical trays per meter of packing. Even above the liquid flooding limit, there is still a certain separation efficiency. When the steam load decreases or the operating pressure decreases, the packing efficiency actually increases, fully reflecting the good wetting performance of the 700 type packing. Due to the low surface tension of most organic media and their tendency to wet the surface of fillers, the efficiency is essentially independent of the medium within the molecular weight range of 100-200.

      3. Main application scope and occasions of the product:

      CY700 metal wire mesh corrugated packing has a large specific surface area and high efficiency, and is generally used for isotope separation or distillation of difficult to separate systems that require a large number of theoretical plates.
