　　The metal flat ring is a new product developed by Tsinghua University in China. It is particularly suitable for liquid-liquid extraction processes. The materials include 304, 321, 316, 316L, etc. The characteristic of metal flat rings is that symmetrical and uniform inner curved ribs can promote the dispersion aggregation redispersion cycle of droplet groups, effectively reduce the backmixing in the packing layer, and thus improve the mass transfer performance between the liquid and liquid phases.
