1、 Product Description
Perforated ceramic ball is a new product developed on the basis of inert alumina ceramic ball. It is perforated with the diameter of the sphere as the axis, which not only has certain mechanical strength, chemical stability, and thermal stability, but also increases the specific surface area and porosity, thereby increasing the dispersion and flux of the material and reducing the system resistance. It can be widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, and natural gas to replace inert alumina ceramic balls as covering and supporting fillers for catalysts. It adopts corundum and mullite as the main crystal phases of the product, with feldspar glass and kaolin sintered body as the structural bridge. It utilizes the high mechanical strength, high temperature resistance, rapid cooling and heating resistance, oxidation resistance, wear resistance, extremely low chemical activity, and strong acid-base corrosion resistance of alumina sintered corundum and mullite crystals.
2、 Product application
Open cell ceramic balls are mainly used in the conversion furnace, second conversion furnace, liquid nitrogen washed molecular sieve adsorber, carbon dioxide removal tower, activated carbon adsorption tower, hydrolysis reactor in the conversion device of ammonia urea plant, alkylation reactor, alkyl transfer reactor, active reaction bed, benzene processor, circulating benzene processor, ethylene processor of 95% high-purity alumina ceramic balls in styrene plant, primary hydrogenation converter, pre removal tank, medium temperature removal tank, secondary hydrogenation converter, zinc oxide removal tank, conversion furnace, methanol synthesis tower, etc. in methanol plant.
The full name of the perforated ceramic ball is inert alumina perforated ceramic ball. It is formed on the basis of the original inert ceramic ball by using a steel mold with a perforation device for pressing or manual molding. The formed sphere has one or two, three, five, or seven straight circular holes. Our company's perforated ceramic ball products are mainly made of high temperature resistant a-Al2O3 industrial high-purity alumina, special grade kaolin, and plastic refractory clay through special molds. They have good mechanical strength, high temperature resistance (up to 1790 ℃), good thermal shock resistance, and excellent acid, alkali, and chemical corrosion resistance. In addition to HF acid, they can withstand all solutions of organic acids and strong alkaline substances such as qinyanhuala.
Compared with ordinary inert ceramic balls, the porosity of perforated ceramic balls is increased by 6-10%, and the specific surface area is increased by 15-25%. The larger the specific surface area of the perforated ceramic ball, the higher the efficiency of the contact reaction. Due to its suitable specific surface area and high porosity, the product can reduce the weight of the bed layer, evenly distribute the fluid in the purifier and reactor, and efficiently carry out mass and heat transfer reactions without concentrating reactants and heat, resulting in a large amount appearing locally The high porosity of perforated ceramic balls can accommodate the adsorption and removal of solid particle impurities such as colloids, coke powder, heavy metals, etc. in various raw material gas-liquid, preventing catalyst poisoning caused by carbon deposition during operation To achieve the purpose of protecting the catalyst When used in a ceramic ball reactor with simultaneous openings, it has a low pressure drop, reduces the resistance of the tower, improves the mass transfer efficiency of the entire reactor, and plays an important role in increasing production and improving product quality.
