　　1、 Product description of trough distributor:

　　2、 Types of trough distributors:

　　Trough type liquid distributors are divided into single-stage trough type liquid distributors, two-stage trough type liquid distributors, and detachable trough type gas-liquid distributors

The single-stage trough liquid distributor has a compact structure with interconnected troughs, ensuring that all troughs are at the same horizontal liquid level, making it easy to achieve uniform liquid distribution. Commonly used in small towers with a diameter of 250-1000mm, it can also be used in large towers when the space of the tower is limited. Its anti flushing device is the same as that of the main trough of the trough distributor, and the liquid distribution structure can only adopt the bottom hole type;

　　2. The secondary trough liquid distributor consists of a main trough (primary trough) and sub troughs (secondary trough), with the main trough placed above the sub troughs. The reflux liquid and the feed liquid enter the main tank through the feeding tube placed above, and are then distributed to each sub tank by the main tank according to the distribution ratio. The structural dimensions of the main and sub tanks are determined by the liquid flow rate, tower diameter, and requirements for distribution quality. The materials include stainless steel 301, 304, 304L, 321, 316, 316L, as well as plastic polypropylene, reinforced polypropylene and other materials.

　　3、 The function of distributor:

　　The flow of liquid within the packing layer is not uniform plug flow, but rather exhibits phenomena such as channel flow, bias flow, and wall flow. This will cause amplification and end effects in the packed tower. Reasonable design and selection of distributors aim to reduce and prevent amplification effects in the packed tower, thereby reducing tower height and diameter, and lowering costs or operating expenses. The poor distribution of liquids in the filling tower is divided into large-scale and small-scale. Small scale poor distribution is caused by liquid channel flow in the packing layer, while large-scale poor distribution is caused by liquid distributor, which will seriously reduce the efficiency of the entire tower. The experiment shows that the higher the packing efficiency, the greater the impact of liquid distribution quality on packing performance. For example When the liquid distribution mass reaches 50%, the theoretical number of plates per meter of packing is equal to 20, and the actual theoretical number of plates is only 11.5. However, for packing with a theoretical number of plates per meter of packing equal to 8, the actual theoretical number of plates is only 5.5.
