The function of fins is to increase the heat dissipation area of the radiator, that is, to increase the contact surface with the air, which can improve the heat transfer efficiency of finned air radiators. In a radiator, different forms of air inlets result in varying local pressures and total equipment pressures. In practical air outlet selection, rectangular air outlets have better heat dissipation performance, but for aesthetic and consideration reasons, rectangular air inlets are generally used. The factors that affect forced convection radiators are mainly related to the structural design of the radiator itself. Generally speaking, the distance between the finned tubes in the radiator and the fan is fixed. If the spacing changes, on the one hand, the natural convection heat transfer for heat dissipation will change, and on the other hand, it will affect the uniformity of the wind speed of the finned tube. The heat dissipation performance of the final device will be affected. Under the influence of forced convection, the distance between the finned tube and the fan simultaneously affects the uniformity of air temperature and velocity at the outlet, the temperature distribution on the surface of the fins, and the heat dissipation performance of the radiator. Reasonably adjusting the distance between the finned tube and the fan is a basic requirement for radiator design.
