The main characteristics of PP and PC honeycomb panel products are: good permeability, which can greatly reduce the resistance of air circulation, reduce the noise of air circulation, and are not easy to frost in humid and low-temperature conditions, ensuring the even distribution and reach of cold air over long distances. Due to the characteristics of the material, uniform honeycomb, smooth and clean inner walls, and smooth and free product surfaces, it is widely used in refrigeration and other fields. Secondly, due to its light weight and high strength, it can be perfectly combined with various materials such as acrylic panels pvc、 Stone, wood, various metals, etc. After being combined, it has a wide range of uses, including beautifying lightboxes, decorating homes and office environments (partitions, floors, roofs, platforms, etc.), and also serving as exterior walls, among others.
Due to the rapid development of the market and the high demand for this product, the market's requirements for the product are also increasing. At present, most of the PP honeycomb panel composite production lines have outdated processes, and the composite strength, specific gravity, flatness, and compressive strength of the produced PP honeycomb panels can no longer meet market demand. However, with external equipment reaching millions, most customers simply cannot accept it. In order to solve the current product defects, the company has decided to develop a PP honeycomb panel composite production line.

PP honeycomb board can be divided into five layers, as follows: Layer 1: non-woven fabric Layer 2: polypropylene plastic surface Layer 3: polypropylene plastic honeycomb layer Layer 4: polypropylene plastic bottom Layer 5: non-woven fabric. The first, second, and fifth layers can be selectively used according to the product situation.

The PP honeycomb panel composite production line adopts PLC centralized control, consisting of multiple sets of vacuum suction machines as the feeding part, a single screw extruder, a screen changer, a metering pump, and a flat die as the extrusion part. Each layer is extruded through the extruder and auxiliary machine, and the forming machine is used for composite. After being pulled by a secondary traction machine, it enters the cross cutting machine and is cut to a fixed length. The cut sheet is transported to the stacking machine by a belt conveyor. The stacking machine uses hydraulic lifting to stack multiple sheets, thus completing the entire production process of the sheet.
Characteristics of PP honeycomb board forming:
According to the product structure, the front section of the production line can be divided into PP surface extrusion molding, PP honeycomb layer extrusion molding, PP bottom layer extrusion molding, and then through preheating and secondary compression molding, the final three-layer composite is formed.

1. The extruder is equipped with a gear pump, and pressure closed-loop control is achieved through PLC to ensure stable pressure after the melt enters the mold cavity, which can achieve uniform discharge and ensure the thickness and consistency of the sheet;
2. Compared to the equipment currently used internally, our company first produces and shapes three-layer products during the sheet forming process, and then uses thermal composite to achieve controllable thickness of the upper and lower surface layers, smooth composite board surface, precise weight control, and higher appearance quality of processed sheets;
3. The compressive strength and weight of honeycomb panels are directly related to the design of honeycomb holes. To ensure high product quality, our company provides panels with a thickness of 3mm, a diameter of 4.2mm, a height of 2.2mm, and a weight of 600-1000g/㎡; Plate thickness 5mm, aperture 8mm, height 4.2mm, weight 1200-1300g/㎡; Plate thickness 10mm, aperture 12mmx, height 8mm, weight 2500g/㎡; Plate thickness 12mm, aperture 14mm, height 9.5mm, weight 2500-3500g/㎡;
4. Compared to external equipment, three-layer extrusion is achieved through two extruders, which is complex to operate and difficult to control with high precision, and requires high raw material requirements. Our three-layer products use PP homopolymer and copolymer materials, and use materials that are compatible with PP for bonding, ensuring simple product lamination and firm bonding;
5. Each forming roller is equipped with an independent temperature control system, which automatically adjusts the PID of the medium entering the roller to achieve a constant surface temperature of the roller
