430 Stainless Steel Cylinder Welding
430 stainless steel is a grade from the United States, with the national standard being 1Cr17, and belongs to ferritic stainless steel.
When welding 430 stainless steel materials, G302, G307, or A302 welding rods can be used, and H0Cr17Ti welding wire can be used. Pre heating temperature is 100-150 ℃. Welding should use low current, fast welding, no lateral swinging of welding rods, multi-layer and multi pass welding for thick plates, and strict control of interlayer temperature. The post weld tempering temperature is 750-800 ℃.
During the welding process of the 430 stainless steel cylinder, it is advisable to minimize the residence time of the welded joint at high temperatures, which helps to prevent the grain size of the ferrite structure in the heat affected zone of the welded joint from growing quickly, thereby improving the plasticity of the welded joint. Forced cooling after welding can be adopted to reduce high-temperature embrittlement and 475 ℃ embrittlement, and prevent the formation of cracks.
