Description :
1、 Calibration basis
This plan is developed based on JJG144-2007 "Verification Regulations for Standard Force Measuring Instruments" and JJG139-2014 "Tensile, Pressure, and Universal Testing Machines", and is applicable to the force value calibration of universal material testing machines using 500kN column tension compression bidirectional standard force measuring instruments to ensure accurate and compliant data.

2、 Preparation work
Environmental requirements: Temperature 23 ± 2 ℃, humidity ≤ 70%, no strong electromagnetic interference or vibration, and allow to stand for more than 4 hours to eliminate temperature drift.
Equipment inspection: Verify that the appearance of the force measuring instrument is not deformed, the threads are intact, and the cables are not damaged; Confirm that the range is 500kN, the accuracy is level 0.5, and the supporting instruments are normal.
Equipment preheating: The testing machine and force measuring instrument are preheated by powering on for 30 minutes, and the limit and emergency stop functions are checked for sensitivity and reliability during no-load operation.

3、 Installation alignment
Install the force measuring instrument vertically between the upper and lower clamps of the testing machine, ensuring that the force axis is coaxial with the main shaft, with an eccentricity of ≤ 0.05mm, to avoid lateral force interference.
Tighten the threaded connection at both ends, pre load 10% FS (50kN) for 30 seconds, and repeat 3 times to eliminate mechanical clearance.
Reset the instrument, select the pull/press mode, set the unit to kN, and confirm that the bidirectional measurement function is normal.

4、 Calibration operation
Calibrate at 6 points of 10%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100% FS (100-500kN) in both tension and compression directions.
Load at a constant speed, and after stabilizing at each point for 3 seconds, record the standard value of the force measuring instrument and the reading of the testing machine. Repeat the cycle for 3 times (increasing decreasing).
Calculate the indication error, requiring ≤± 0.5% FS; if it exceeds the tolerance, adjust the parameters of the testing machine and recalibrate to qualified.
After calibration is completed, uninstall and stop the machine, export the data and generate a calibration report, and paste the qualified label.

5、 Closing and maintenance
Disconnect the power supply, disassemble the force gauge, clean the surface and inspect the threads, and store in a dry and shockproof environment.
Organize calibration records, archive reports, with a calibration cycle of 1 year and regular maintenance to ensure long-term stability.
