3、 Characteristics:
1. Single arm drop testing machine: This machine can perform free drop tests on the surface, corners, and edges of packaging, equipped with a digital height display instrument and an encoder for height tracking, so as to accurately provide the product drop height, with an error of no more than 2% or 10MM from the preset drop height. This machine adopts a single arm double column structure, with electric reset, electric control drop, and electric lifting devices, making it easy to use; The unique buffering device greatly improves the service life, stability, and safety of the machine. The "E" fork is embedded in the bottom plate under the action of the shock absorber when the packaged goods fall to the bottom plate adhesive. In theory, the zero drop test can be conducted from a zero height range. The drop height is set numerically according to the test requirements, and the drop test of large packaged goods and specimens is automatically performed according to the set height.

Experimental Procedure:
1. Lift the test sample and fix it on the drop arm, support it in the predetermined state, and raise it to the desired drop height position. The difference between its height and the predetermined height shall not exceed ± 2% of the predetermined height. The drop height refers to the distance between the point of release of the test sample and the impact table.
2. Release the test sample according to the following predetermined states:
① When the surface is dropped, the angle between the dropped surface of the test sample and the horizontal plane should not exceed 2 degrees;
② When the edge is dropped, the angle between the dropped edge and the horizontal plane should not exceed 2 degrees, and the error of the angle between the specified surface on the test sample and the impact table should not exceed ± 5 degrees or 10% of the angle (whichever is larger), so that the gravity line of the test sample passes through the dropped edge;
③ When the angle is dropped, the angle error between the specified surface on the test sample and the impact table shall not exceed ± 5o or 10% of this angle (whichever is greater), so that the gravity line of the test sample passes through the dropped angle;
④ Regardless of the state and shape of the test sample, the gravity line of the test sample should pass through the dropped surface, line, or point.
3. The difference between the actual impact velocity and the impact velocity during free fall shall not exceed ± 1% of the impact velocity during free fall.
4. After the experiment, inspect the packaging and contents for damage according to relevant standards or regulations. And analyze the experimental results.
Notes:
1. This device is intended to be placed on the first floor, but due to its large size and weight of approximately 750kg, it is generally not accessible by elevators and inconvenient to move;
2. When conducting a drop test, safety should be taken into account. Do not approach the impact table when the object falls to avoid injury to personnel and affecting the test results when the object falls and the arm retracts;
3. This equipment should be regularly maintained to extend its lifespan.
