Corrosion and aging resistance salt spray test chamberAccording to the experimental requirements, it can be divided into neutral salt spray test, acidic salt spray test, and copper accelerated acetate salt spray test.
1. Neutral salt spray test NSS test
An accelerated corrosion testing method has emerged in the current application field. 5% sodium chloride saline solution is used as the solution for spray, and the PH value of the solution is adjusted to the neutral range of 6~7). The experimental temperature is set at 35 ℃, and the settling amount of salt spray is required to be between 1-2ml/80cm2. h.
2. Acetate salt spray test ASS test
Developed on the basis of neutral salt spray testing. It is achieved by adding glacial acetic acid to a 5% sodium chloride solution, reducing the pH value of the solution to around 3 and making it acidic. The resulting salt spray also changes from neutral to acidic. Its corrosion rate is about three times faster than the neutral salt spray test.
3. Copper salt accelerated acetate salt spray test CASS test
A rapid salt spray corrosion test recently developed abroad, with a test temperature of 50 ℃. A small amount of copper salt - copper chloride - is added to the salt solution to strongly induce corrosion. Its corrosion rate is approximately 8 times that of the neutral salt spray test.
