Precautions for selecting and using vacuum pump oil:
The oil loading window must be clean and must not be exposed to sunlight or stored outdoors. It should be stored in a dark, dry, and well ventilated area to prevent the mixing of moisture and dust.
When taking or filling oil, the light rain around the barrel cover must be removed to prevent debris from entering the oil and causing wear and tear on the pump.
Vacuum pump oil of different grades and varieties cannot be mixed, and new and old oil products cannot be mixed.
Strictly avoid mixing vacuum oil with other lubricating oils, and do not mix light oil products, as this will affect the vacuum performance.
Vacuum pump oil should avoid extracting solvents, water vapor, and corrosive gases as much as possible, and must be checked and replaced frequently when used.
When changing the oil, the used oil in the pump body should be drained completely. After pouring in new oil, slowly rotate the pump shaft, clean the pump chamber to drain any remaining oil, repeat the cleaning several times, and then replace with new oil.
During pump overhaul, all components of the pump must be cleaned with solvents or cleaning agents and dried.
