HR8800S Self contained Water Level Temperature Recorder/Tide Gauge is a self-contained battery level monitoring device that can record water depth (pressure) and temperature for a long time. working principle
An instrument that directly or indirectly senses the static water pressure of a body of water using a pressure sensor to measure water level. Including pressure sensors and related voltage carriers, signal transmission, data processing (including storage, encoding, and recording). The central processing unit collects real-time data from pressure sensors and temperature sensors based on the principle of static pressure and liquid level measurement, and applies complex algorithms to linear correction and temperature compensation of pressure sensor data. The system uses highly stable and high-precision sensors to fundamentally ensure the stability and accuracy of the product. The product adopts RS 485 digital output interface, and the data protocol is standard Modbus RTU protocol, supporting networking.

2.1 On site installation
Before installation and use, please carefully read the accompanying "Instructions for Use of HR 8800 Independent Water Level Recorder", which must comply with the requirements for manual installation and debugging.
Usage Notes
1) The bottom of the product should be as far away from the bottom of the water as possible and installed vertically to avoid blockage of the product probe inlet by sludge and debris at the bottom, ensuring measurement accuracy;
2) It is strictly prohibited to remove the water guide plug and touch the pressure diaphragm of the product with a hard object;
3) The product should be slowly placed in logging or other application areas, and it is strictly prohibited to throw it away at will to avoid damage to the pressure sensor caused by water hammer;
4) It is recommended that the range of the tested water body should be between 70% and 90% of the full product range to ensure sufficient resolution, accuracy, and necessary safety overload capacity.
5) The waterproof cable shielding layer of the product must be connected to reliable metals such as metal junction boxes and metal protective covers, and reliably connected to nearby land to ensure lightning protection capability;
6) The double steel wires of the air guiding cable must be fixed on the on-site fastening device (especially on a large scale) to ensure the stability of the product and the accuracy and reliability of the measurement results;
(7) During use, the following suggestions should be strictly followed for wiring to avoid short circuits and misconnections;
8) There is a waterproof molecular plug at the end air pipe of the waterproof air guide cable user connection, which should be properly protected and not lost, especially to avoid detachment and damage during transportation and installation. If damaged, it should be replaced in a timely manner. To prevent moisture and water from entering the probe through the cable and causing damage;
