Pressure type liquid level gauge is a pressure sensor for measuring liquid level, including static pressure level gauge, liquid level transmitter, liquid level sensor, water level sensor, pressure transmitter, etc. It is based on the principle that the measured liquid static pressure is proportional to the height of the liquid. It uses advanced isolation type diffusion silicon sensitive elements or ceramic capacitive pressure sensitive sensors from abroad to convert static pressure into electrical signals, which are then temperature compensated and linearly corrected to convert into standard electrical signals (generally 4-20mA/1-5VDC).

Working principle of pressure type water level gauge
Its working principle is to measure water pressure and calculate water level. Its characteristic is that it does not require the construction of static water logging, and the sensor can be fixed at the bottom of the river to eliminate atmospheric pressure with a pressure pipe, thus directly measuring the water level.

The pressure type liquid level gauge adopts the principle of static pressure measurement. When the liquid level transmitter is put into a certain depth of the measured liquid, the sensor is subjected to pressure on the liquid surface. At the same time, the pressure of the liquid is introduced into the positive pressure chamber of the sensor through the gas guiding stainless steel. Then, the atmospheric pressure Po on the liquid surface is connected to the negative pressure chamber of the sensor to offset the Po on the back of the sensor, so that the pressure measured by the sensor is: ρ. g.H. By measuring the pressure P, the depth of the liquid level can be obtained.
