Groundwater monitoring is an important foundational work in water resource management. Device specifications:
The specifications of this device are as follows: Material: Q235 A3 steel. The diameter of the tube is 350 mm, the height is 500 mm, and the wall thickness is 10 mm (please specify when ordering other specifications). Hooks are welded inside the tube, and tube ears are installed outside the tube. The cover plate is locked, and there is a water vapor vent hole in the tube; The cover plate is 10 mm thick and has a diameter larger than the wellbore diameter. A circular hole of about 200 mm is opened in the center of the cover plate, and a non-metallic material with a thickness of 8-10 mm is firmly installed and sealed. The cover plate (above the lock) is equipped with a movable handle; There is a cushion plate (tray) inside the wellbore, with a circular hole of about 45mm in the center of the cushion plate (the cushion plate is a movable tray installed inside the pipe and covered above the wellhead, used to cushion monitoring instruments and prevent monitoring instruments and other objects from falling into the wellbore);
In addition, there is a 400MM * 250mm non-magnetic steel material identification plate on the outside of the tube.
Device installation:
1. A cement base is built on the part of the well casing that is higher than the ground as a well platform, and fixed points are set at the wellhead. Monitoring equipment can be placed on the platform. The well platform is designed as a cylindrical concrete platform, with a height generally ranging from 0.3-0.5m depending on the height of the well pipe above the ground. Iron components are pre embedded next to the wellhead as fixed point elevations, and there should be installation instrument markings on the well platform. The wellhead has an iron cover. The specific size of the well platform can be determined based on the size of the well room and protective facilities. The typical design of the well platform is shown in the following figure.

2. Insert the footrest and chassis of the instrument protection box into the cement base, ensuring that the chassis is as level and straight as possible to maintain cleanliness. After the cement base solidifies and sets, fix the wellhead protection device on the tripod with nuts. The wellhead protection device has a height of over 400mm, a diameter of over 350mm, a thickness of not less than 10mm, and is equipped with hooks or trays inside the device; The nylon board embedded in the box cover can ensure signal transmission; The instrument protection box is equipped with breathable holes to reduce the humidity of the air inside the box; There is a sturdy locking device designed on the box cover, which requires specialized tools to open the wellhead cap.
3. Spray paint around the cement base and fix the identification plate on the wellhead protection device.
