Bubble pressure water level gauge
Pressure type water level gauge:According to the principle of hydrostatic pressure, which is proportional to water depth, a pressure-sensitive element is used as a sensor for measuring water level. When the sensor is fixed at a measuring point underwater, the water level can be indirectly measured by adding the height of the water column pressure above the measuring point to the elevation of that point.
Working Principle:It measures water pressure and calculates water level. Its characteristic is that it does not require the construction of static water logging, and the sensor can be fixed at the bottom of the river to eliminate atmospheric pressure with a pressure pipe, thus directly measuring the water level.
Classification of pressure type water level gauge: One type is bubble typeContinuously delivering gas in the pressure pipe, using an automatically adjustable pressure balance to convert water pressure into mechanical rotation angle, thereby driving the recording mechanism.Another type is the electrical measurement typeIt uses solid-state piezoresistive devices as sensors, which can directly convert water pressure into voltage modulus or frequency output, and transmit it to the shore for processing and recording through wires.
Scope of application: This instrument is suitable for areas where it is inconvenient to establish logging. The adaptability to the environment is stronger than that of ultrasonic water level gauges.
Bubble type water level gauge:Insert a pipe with a pressure sensor and gas source at the upper end into the water, and introduce a small amount of air or inert gas into the pipe in a constant flow direction. The pressure sensor can measure the gas pressure inside the pipe, which is proportional to the water head above the end of the pipe and converted into water level through a recording system.
Scope of application: The pressure sensor of this instrument does not directly contact the water body and does not require logging. It is particularly suitable for industrial wastewater with severe water pollution and strong corrosiveness. Bubble type water level calculation is commonly used abroad.

Bubble pressure water level gauge is a type of pressure water level gauge. The cost of bubble type water level gauge is higher and more complex than that of pressure resistance type water level gauge. (However, it has no "electrical" connection with the water being measured in the flowmeter, only a trachea enters the water, which can avoid many interferences and influences, forming its own usage characteristics.)
The working principle of bubble type water level gauge is the same as that of pressure resistance type water level gaugeMeasure the water level by measuring the static water pressure at a fixed underwater point. But the method of measuring static water pressure is different. The piezoresistive pressure water level gauge directly places the pressure sensor at the underwater measuring point for pressure measurement, and then transmits the signal back to the shore for processing. The bubble type water level gauge is installed inside the onshore instrument with a pressure sensor, and the static water pressure at the blowing pipe mouth is introduced into the onshore instrument for lateral measurement through a blowing pipe. The bubble type water level gauge has a blowing pipe that is inserted into the water. The blowing pipe is fixed at a point on one side underwater, and the other end of the blowing pipe is connected to the blowing tube (airbag) of the onshore instrument. This blowing tube is connected to a high-pressure gas cylinder or air pump. The principle of induced pressure is based on equal pressure at all points inside a sealed gas container. That is to say, if the boundary between gas and water is exactly at the mouth of the pipe, and the gas does not flow, or basically does not flow (only bubbles appear), then the gas pressure at the outlet of the blowing pipe is equal to the static water pressure at that point, and also equal to the pressure inside the entire blowing pipe cavity. Place the pressure sensing port of the pressure sensor inside the blowing tube, so that the pressure sensor can directly sense the static water pressure value at the outlet and convert it to the water level corresponding to the measuring point position.
To make the gas pressure at the outlet of the blowing tube equal to the static water pressure at that point, two methods can be used: one is to install an automatic pressure regulating and constant flow device inside the instrument, which automatically adapts to changes in static water pressure, but slowly and evenly releases gas, usually emitting dozens of bubbles in one minute. At this time, it can be considered that the gas pressure is equal to the static water pressure at the outlet, and this method is called a constant flow bubble water level gauge. The other method is to start the air pump when the instrument is not working normally and needs to measure, so that the gas pressure exceeds the static water pressure at the outlet. Then the air pump stops working, and the exhaust from the outlet quickly stops, indicating that the pressure inside the tube is equal to the static water pressure.
