　　Construction method of crack prevention sticker

　　Surface treatment of adhesive anti cracking stickers

　　1. Remove dust, water, and other debris from the adhesive surface to keep the road surface dry and clean.

　　2. Clean the crack (joint) with a width between 5-19mm and fill it with sealant.

　　3. Clean the cracks (joints) and sunken areas with a width between 19-50mm, fill them with adhesive sand, sealant or hot asphalt mixture, and compact them to the existing height.

　　4. Cracks or pits with a width exceeding 50mm should be cleaned first, and then filled with adhesive sand or hot asphalt mixture and compacted to the existing height.

　　5. For cracks (joints) and sunken areas with different heights, leveling treatment should be carried out.

　　6. For protrusions such as bridge decks, road surfaces, and iron nails, clean or level them until they are smooth.

　　Construction process of anti cracking sticker:

　　1. According to the width of the road surface crack (joint), select the specifications of the anti crack sticker used. For cracks (joints) below 1mm-3mm, use at least 24cm anti crack sticker;

　　2. For cracks (joints) with a width of 3mm to 5mm or less, use crack resistant stickers with a minimum of 32cm.

　　3. Clean the crack (joint) with a width between 5mm and 19mm, fill it with sealant, and then apply a 48cm crack resistant adhesive to the joint.

　　4. Clean the cracks (joints) and sunken areas with a width of 19mm, fill and compact them with adhesive sand, sealant or asphalt mixture to the existing height, and then use 98cm crack resistant adhesive tape to stick the joints.

　　5. Cracks or potholes with a width exceeding 50mm should be cleaned first, then filled with adhesive sand or hot asphalt mixture and compacted to the existing height, and then sealed with 98cm crack resistant adhesive tape.

　　6. For cracks (joints) and sunken areas with different heights, leveling treatment should be carried out.

　　Notes:

　　⑴ Dry the cement concrete pavement before construction. Construction shall not be carried out on damp substrates or in rainy or snowy weather.

　　⑵ After construction, use sandbags or rubber tire rollers to compact the "crack prevention sticker" to prevent rainwater from entering the bonding surface of the "crack prevention sticker" before laying asphalt concrete. If it is expected to rain heavily before paving asphalt concrete, sealant should be used to seal both sides of the "crack prevention patch".

　　Construction should not be carried out when the temperature is below 5 ℃.

　　During the paving of asphalt concrete, vehicles are not allowed to roll or turn around on the "crack prevention sticker" on site.

　　When the slope is greater than 5%, the width of the "crack prevention sticker" should not exceed 330mm. When laying the bottom layer of asphalt concrete, there may be a small amount of slippage, which should be repaired in a timely manner to avoid affecting the quality of the project.

　　The total thickness of asphalt concrete paving should not be less than 6cm.

　　⑺ When laying the "crack prevention sticker", if the height difference between adjacent edges is greater than 1cm or there are many potholes, the part should be leveled before laying to prevent the "crack prevention sticker" laid in the depression from being damaged by gravity. The leveling material can be epoxy mortar or asphalt mixture.
