　　The three major properties of anti cracking stickers:

　　For anti cracking stickers, the main reason for their rise in the industry is determined by their three main properties.

　　1、 Physical properties: The thickness, width, and unit area quality indicators of crack resistant adhesive tape are similar to those of waterproofing membranes and can be used as a reference.

　　Crack resistant stickers, like waterproofing membranes, should have the function of preventing water seepage, so they should have an impermeability index. The main function of anti crack stickers is to reinforce and resist cracking, so the requirements for materials are low elongation and a lower limit requirement for strength.

　　And there should be an upper limit requirement for the elongation rate. Waterproof membrane needs to adapt to the deformation of roof thermal expansion and contraction. Therefore, the strength requirement is relatively low, while the elongation requirement is high. Its elongation must have a lower limit requirement.

　　2、 Thermal aging performance: As a waterproofing membrane for roofs, its environmental temperature generally does not exceed 80 ℃, but the temperature duration is relatively long.

　　Therefore, in GB/T328, the thermal aging temperature of waterproofing membrane is 80 ℃, with a duration of up to 6 hours. On top of the anti cracking sticker, hot mix asphalt mixture needs to be added, and the paving temperature of asphalt mixture is 130 ℃~150 ℃ (matrix asphalt mixture), and even up to 165 ℃ (polymer modified asphalt mixture).

　　After paving, the temperature of the asphalt mixture rapidly decreases in a short period of time.

　　Therefore, the thermal aging temperature requirement for crack resistant stickers should be higher than that of waterproofing membranes, while the thermal aging time should be lower than that of waterproofing membranes.

　　3、 Other performance indicators such as chemical liquid resistance, mineral adhesion, tear resistance, impact resistance, static load resistance, soluble matter content, water absorption, etc. are not or only partially adopted in the standards.

　　Crack resistant stickers are laid between the layers of the pavement structure and are generally not subject to corrosive effects such as chemical liquids during use. The adhesion, tear resistance, impact resistance, and other performance requirements of mineral materials are also poorly correlated with the road performance of crack resistant stickers. Therefore, these indicators are not used.

　　Waterproof membrane is used for building roofs. With a large usage area, the membrane needs to be overlapped, and the joint peeling performance and joint shear performance are used to evaluate the overlapping performance of the membrane. However, anti crack stickers are directly laid at the crack, usually not spread over the entire area and do not need to be overlapped, so these two indicators are not used.
