For pump stations with high flow rates, in order to avoid construction difficulties caused by the pump room being too deep, it is also possible to slightly raise the elevation of the bottom of the incoming water pipe channel, so that the low water level is level with the water surface elevation of the water pipe channel under the flow conditions of the pump. The submergence depth of the pump shall be determined according to the specifications of the pump sample.
