      Product Introduction:

      Spiral classifier is one of the equipment for mineral processing. It is a mechanical classification device that uses the principle that the solid particles have different densities, resulting in different sedimentation speeds in liquids. It can filter the material powder ground in the mill, and then use spiral blades to screw the coarse material into the feed inlet of the mill, and discharge the filtered fine material from the overflow pipe. Spiral classifier, abbreviated as classifier. There are mainly four types of classifiers: high weir single helix and double helix, submerged single helix and double helix. The classifier is mainly composed of a transmission device, a spiral body, a groove body, a lifting mechanism, a lower support (bearing shell), and a discharge valve. Spiral classifiers are widely used in mineral processing plants to form a closed-loop circulation process with ball mills for separating ore sand, or in gravity beneficiation plants to classify ore sand and fine mud, as well as in metal beneficiation processes for particle size classification of slurry, and in ore washing operations such as desliming and dewatering.

      The base of the machine is made of channel steel, and the body is welded from steel plates. The inlet head and shaft head of the spiral shaft are equipped with pig iron sleeves, which are wear-resistant and durable. The lifting device is available in both electric and manual modes.

      Product Structure:

      1. Transmission device:

      The spiral classifier is composed of an electric motor, a reducer, a cylindrical gear pair, and a bevel gear.

      2. Spiral (left, right):

      Composed of hollow shaft, bracket, spiral blade, lining iron, etc. The hollow shaft is welded from seamless steel pipes, shaft necks, and flanges. Wear resistance life is crucial during use, and the lining iron is made of wear-resistant materials.

      3. Lower support:

      Due to its long-term immersion in the slurry, it is prone to wear and tear, and frequent maintenance and replacement are its main characteristics. Therefore, this machine adopts a live shaft sleeve and nylon bearing structure. When the shaft sleeve and bearing are worn, the screw can be lifted by the lifting mechanism and replaced with a new set of sleeves and bearings in just over ten minutes, making maintenance and replacement easier.

      4. Sink:

      Made by welding steel plates and various types of steel. The sink is filled with all the mineral resources and can bear the weight and full load of the machine itself. Therefore, the foundation construction that supports the sink is very important. To avoid deformation of the sink caused by improper support and affecting the operation of the machine

      5. Drain valve:

      In order to discharge the slurry from the water tank when necessary, a drain valve is installed at the bottom of the tank, which can discharge the slurry at any time and can be closed during normal production.

      6. Lifting device:

      It consists of components such as a motor, worm gear reducer, bevel gear pair, nut, and lead screw. When the classifier stops working, a lifting device is installed to prevent solid precipitation in the slurry from pressing against the spiral and causing overload operation, as well as to meet the needs of maintenance work. When the classifier is stopped, the spiral must be lifted from the water tank to remove most of the spiral from the slurry. To ensure the safety and reliability of the lifting device, a travel end switch is specially equipped to enable self-control of the lifting stroke. After the spiral is lifted, use a fishing hook to hang it firmly to prevent it from falling off. When the classifier is stopped, the lifting device can automatically lift the screw to a certain height. When the classifier is working, the lifting device also rotates to lower the screw to the working position, which can maintain the service life of the transmission components and prevent the hollow shaft from breaking due to overload. Whether it is necessary to install a linkage control electrical device can be determined by the user based on specific conditions.
