Description :
Magnetic separator is a screening equipment used for removing iron powder and other substances from recycled powder particles. After the slurry flows into the tank through the feeding box, the mineral particles enter the feeding area of the tank in a loose state under the action of the water flow in the feeding spray pipe. Under the action of a magnetic field, magnetic particles undergo magnetic aggregation to form "magnetic clusters" or "magnetic chains". The "magnetic clusters" or "magnetic chains" are affected by magnetic force in the slurry, move towards the magnetic poles, and are adsorbed on the cylinder. Due to the alternating polarity of the magnetic poles along the direction of rotation of the cylinder and their fixed position during operation, the "magnetic cluster" or "magnetic flux" generates magnetic stirring phenomenon due to the alternating magnetic poles when rotating with the cylinder. Non magnetic minerals such as gangue mixed in the "magnetic cluster" or "magnetic flux" fall off during flipping, and the "magnetic cluster" or "magnetic lotus" that is ultimately attracted to the surface of the cylinder is the concentrate. Magnetic separators are widely used in resource recovery, wood industry, mining, kiln industry, chemical, food and other factories. They are suitable for wet magnetic separation of materials such as magnetite, pyrrhotite, roasted ore, ilmenite with particle size below 3mm.
