Introduction to magnetic separator:
Magnetic separators play an important role in the removal of iron powder from recycled powder particles. Magnetic separators are widely used for resource recovery in chemical, mining, kiln, wood, food and other industries. Magnetic separators are suitable for wet or dry magnetic separation of magnetite, ilmenite, diopside, roasted ore and other materials with particle size below 3mm. They are also used for iron removal operations of building materials, non-metallic minerals, coal and other materials. The magnetic system of magnetic separators is mostly made of ferrite materials or composite with rare earth magnetic steel. Previously, the average magnetic induction intensity on the cylinder surface was 800-4000mT. Currently, due to technological development, magnetic separators can be made into roller shapes, and the magnetic field strength has been increased to 8000mT, which is the currently measured magnetic field strength. Our company mainly produces permanent magnet drum magnetic separators and three disc belt magnetic separators, which are popular among customers for their good quality and reasonable prices.
Introduction to permanent magnet drum magnetic separator: The permanent magnet drum magnetic separator is suitable for enterprises, institutions, and individual users in metallurgy, mining, mineral processing, and beneficiation plants. It is used to separate fine magnetic minerals or remove magnetic minerals mixed in non-magnetic minerals. According to the different structural types of the tank, magnetic separators are divided into three types: co current, counter current, and semi counter current. Three different types of magnetic separators with different slot sizes are selected as follows: downstream slot ≤ 6mm, upstream slot ≤ 1.5mm, and semi upstream slot ≤ 0.5mm. The permanent magnet drum magnetic separator uses a composite magnetic system composed of rare earth neodymium iron boron magnetic blocks and ferrite magnetic blocks with high magnetic properties, which has high magnetic field strength. The magnetic field has the characteristics of a large depth of action and is not easily demagnetized. Therefore, the equipment has a large processing capacity, strong adaptability to production fluctuations, and good selection effects.
Characteristics of permanent magnet drum magnetic separator:
① One cylinder can be equipped with three types of grooves to adapt to different selection processes
② The counter current trough is suitable for wet coarse selection and selection of strong magnetic minerals with a particle size of 0.5-0mm, especially for the selection of large minerals with a particle size of 0.15-0.0mm.
③ The flow channel is suitable for wet roughing and sweeping of strongly magnetic minerals with a particle size of 0.6mm. Especially suitable for heavy medium recovery in coal washing plants.
④ The flow channel is suitable for coarse and fine selection of ores with a particle size of 6-0mm.
⑤ Both counter current and counter current tanks can be used in series to improve the grade of concentrate.
⑥ The system is made of ferrite material or composite with rare earth magnetic steel, with an average magnetic induction intensity of 100-600mT on the cylinder surface.
