　　Electric tricycle maintenance:

　　The maintenance of electric tricycles includes checking whether all screws and nuts are sturdy, whether the control performance is good, whether the tires need to be replaced, whether the mechanical system is in good condition, whether the battery capacity meets the standard, and repairing the brushed motor once a year. The specific maintenance contents are as follows:

　　(1) Complete vehicle debugging, check for any potential faults or hazards in the electrical control circuit, and inspect for any damage to the electrical connection wires. If any are found, they should be eliminated on site;

　　(2) Adjust the front and rear brakes to ensure they are flexible and reliable;

　　(3) Whether the steering of the handlebars is reliable and whether there is a phenomenon of mutual sliding between the handlebars and the front fork;

　　(4) Regularly check the battery (once a month in summer and every 2-3 months in winter) to ensure that the battery level is below the marked line. If the electrode plate is exposed, add distilled water in a timely manner. (Be careful not to add acid, as the electrolyte concentration has been adjusted according to the ratio when each battery leaves the factory. Adding acid will disrupt the existing acid-base balance, cause corrosion of the electrode plates, and affect the service life of the battery.).

　　(5) Attention should be paid to adding gear oil to the rear axle gearbox during secondary use. In the future, regularly check the rear axle gearbox for oil leakage, damaged sealing gaskets, and lack of lubricating oil. Replace the sealing gaskets and replenish lubricating oil in a timely manner.

　　(6) The gearbox, motor sprocket, and chain should be lubricated regularly. If they are severely worn, they should be replaced in a timely manner to avoid affecting their use.

　　(7) Regularly tighten the bolts of the entire vehicle, check for any looseness or detachment, and apply rust proof fluid appropriately to prevent screws from rusting and making maintenance difficult.

　　(8) Clean and wipe the entire vehicle thoroughly.

　　Electric tricycle maintenance:

　　(1) Before riding, check if the battery compartment is securely locked and if all lights on the display panel are functioning properly.

　　(2) When driving on waterlogged roads on rainy days, normal driving should be carried out under the condition that the water depth does not exceed the center of the electric wheel. If the water depth on the driving road exceeds the center of the electric wheel, it may cause water seepage and malfunction of the electric wheel.

　　(3) The whole vehicle should be avoided from being placed in places with humid air, high temperatures, and corrosive gases to prevent chemical corrosion of the electroplated paint surface of metal parts.

　　(4) Long term exposure to direct sunlight and rain on the entire vehicle should be avoided to prevent damage to the components inside the controller, resulting in operational failure and accidents.

　　(5) The structure of the electrical control part is complex, and users should not disassemble or repair it without authorization. If the local charging voltage is unstable, it is easy to cause the charger wire to melt. It is recommended to use an AC voltage regulator.

　　(6) It is normal for electric bicycles to feel heavy when reversing, and for the wheels to make slight friction sounds when pushed forward.

　　(7) Riding should not be overloaded, and heavy objects or people should not be placed to avoid damaging the battery and motor.

　　(8) Lubrication of bicycles is an important part of bicycle maintenance. Depending on usage, components such as the front axle, rear axle, center axle, flywheel, front fork, and suspension pivot should be cleaned and lubricated every six months to one year (molybdenum disulfide grease is recommended). The transmission components inside the electric wheel hub have been coated with special lubricating oil, so users do not need to clean and lubricate them themselves.
