      LZB-DN50 glass rotor flowmeter

      This product is widely used in chemical, petroleum, light industry, medicine, environmental protection, food and metrology testing, scientific research and other departments to measure the flow rate of single-phase non pulsating fluids (liquids or gases).

      1. Overview:

      This product has the characteristics of high sensitivity, wide measurement range, and easy use and maintenance. The connection method of the instrument is flange connection. A flowmeter that uses changes in flow cross-section to measure non turbid and non pulsating liquid or gas flow under constant pressure conditions. Widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, synthetic fiber, dye, papermaking, environmental protection equipment, food, sugar production, as well as supporting facilities for scientific experimental instruments.

      2、 Principle and Structure:

      The main measuring element is a vertically installed conical glass tube (referred to as a cone tube) with a small end facing downwards and a large end facing upwards, as well as a float that can move up and down inside. When the fluid flows through the conical tube from bottom to top, a pressure difference is generated between the floats, and the floats rise under this pressure difference. When the lift force of the float is equal to the combined force of gravity, buoyancy, and viscosity, the float is in an equilibrium position. Therefore, there is a certain proportional relationship between the flow rate of the fluid flowing through the glass rotor flowmeter and the rising height of the float, that is, the fluid area of the instrument. The height of the float position can be used as a measure of the flow rate.

      4、 Installation:

      1. It must be installed vertically. The fluid flows through the instrument from bottom to top for measurement.

      2. It is required to be installed in a place without vibration and easy to maintain, with reliable support and no tension or pressure from pipelines.

      When used for dirty fluids, the measured fluid may mix with oil particles, etc., and a filter must be installed upstream of the instrument. Especially for instruments with small diameters (below ф 25mm), they are very sensitive to dirt and must consider the issue of filtering in front of the instrument. When there may be ferromagnetic impurities in the measured fluid, a magnetic filter should be installed in front of the instrument. Measuring dirty fluids requires frequent flushing of the instrument.

      4. The upstream (inlet end) of the flowmeter should have a straight pipe section with a nominal diameter of 5-10 times. It is strongly recommended to install a bypass pipe next to the flowmeter.

      When the temperature of the measured fluid is greater than 70 ℃. The glass rotor flowmeter should be equipped with a protective cover to prevent the glass tube from cracking when exposed to cold. After the installation of the glass rotor flowmeter, its upper and lower pipes should be securely fixed with brackets. To prevent the weight of the pipeline from being added to the rotor flowmeter or causing severe vibration.
