      3、 Requirements for installing straight pipe sections:

      Firstly, it should be noted that the sensor itself cannot serve as a load-bearing point. It cannot support adjacent working pipelines and should be supported by pipelines that clamp it. To achieve normal measurement accuracy, there should also be a certain length of straight pipe upstream of the electromagnetic flow sensor, but its length is lower compared to most other flow meters. A straight pipe section with a diameter of 5 times (5D) from the flange connection surface at the inlet end of the sensor is required for 90 degree elbows, T-shaped pipes, concentric reducers, and fully open gate valves. Valves with different opening degrees require a length of 10D. The downstream straight pipe section is (2-3) D; But it is necessary to prevent the butterfly valve disc from extending into the sensor measuring tube. The length of the upstream and downstream straight pipe sections proposed by various standards or verification regulations is also different, as shown in Table 2, with higher requirements than usual. This is to ensure that the current requirement for 0.5 level precision instruments is met.

      4、 Installation position and flow direction:

      The axis of the measuring electrode must be approximately horizontal;

      The measuring pipeline must be completely filled with liquid;

      There should be a minimum of 5xD (D is the inner diameter of the flowmeter) of straight pipe section in front of the flowmeter, and a minimum of 3xD (D is the inner diameter of the flowmeter) behind it

      A straight pipe section of diameter; For the convenience of installation and disassembly, a pipeline expansion joint can be installed after the flowmeter.

      The flow direction of the fluid and the arrow direction of the flowmeter;

      Vacuum inside the pipeline can damage the lining of the flowmeter, so special attention should be paid.
