Description :
This product is mainly used to measure the volumetric flow rate of conductive liquids and slurries in closed pipelines. Including highly corrosive liquids such as acids, alkalis, salts, etc.
1、 Working principle:
This product is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. In an electromagnetic flowmeter, the conductive medium inside the measuring tube is equivalent to a conductive metal rod in Faraday's test, and the two electromagnetic coils at the upper and lower ends generate a constant magnetic field. When a conductive medium flows through, an induced voltage is generated. The induced voltage generated by measuring the two electrodes inside the pipeline. The measuring pipeline achieves electromagnetic isolation from the fluid and measuring electrodes through non-conductive lining (rubber, Teflon, etc.).
2、 Technical features:
1. Suitable for liquid flow detection with conductivity greater than 5 μ s/cm. Changes in conductivity do not affect changes in performance;
2. Electromagnetic flow meters have long-term high measurement accuracy and are actually not affected by the physical properties of the fluid;
3. Easy to put into operation, the flowmeter is automatically set within the range of 0-10m/s, without the need to change the measurement range;
4. All components in contact with the tested medium have good corrosion resistance and wear resistance, with a wide range of applications;
5. There are no movable parts or flow blocking components in the pipeline, and there is almost no additional pressure loss during measurement;
6. The measurement results are independent of physical parameters such as flow velocity distribution, fluid pressure, temperature, density, viscosity, etc.

4、 Installation:
You should stay away from equipment with strong magnetic fields.
Avoid places with strong vibrations and corrosiveness.
Pipelines that do not allow flow interruption should be equipped with shut-off valves and bypass pipelines when installing flow meters.
There should also be a certain straight pipe section upstream of the flowmeter sensor, usually between 5D and 10D.
It can be installed horizontally, vertically, and diagonally, but it is necessary to ensure that the measuring tube is coaxial with the process pipeline and that the measuring tube is always filled with liquid.
