Description :

　　Foam generator, also known as air foam generator, foam generator and foam generator, is a fire extinguishing equipment fixed on the oil tank to generate and spray air foam. When the foam mixed liquid flow supplied by the fixed fire pump of the foam fire truck passes through the generator through the transmission pipeline, it forms air foam to extinguish the oil fire. It is generally divided into two specifications: vertical and horizontal.

　　In general, when supplying, the nozzle assembly only includes flanges, gaskets, fasteners, etc., while the nozzle and elbow are purchased and processed by the user to form the nozzle assembly. The generator should be installed horizontally on the upper part of the tank wall and should not be installed on the top of the tank. When installing, the cover plate should face downwards and should not be installed on the side. When used for external floating roof storage tank, it shall be installed on the foam shroud at the top of the storage tank.

　　Instructions for Use:

　　1. The rated working pressure at the inlet of foam concentrate generator is 0.5MPa, which can also be used within the pressure range of 0.3~0.5MPa, but the volume of mixed liquid and foam concentrate varies accordingly.

　　2. The fire pump water supply system can be equipped with a pressure type air foam proportional mixer or a pump changing proportional mixer to deliver air foam mixture to the generator.

　　3. This product is suitable for use with 3% and 6% foam liquid of various types.

　　4. To prevent air evaporation and leakage from flammable liquid storage tanks, a sealed glass must be installed at the outlet port of the shell. One side of the glass is engraved with a fragile crack, which can be crushed when the mixed liquid flow pressure is between 0.1~0.2 MPa. The side with fragile cracks should be installed towards the nozzle direction.

　　5. The deflector is installed on the inner wall of the tank to ensure that foam liquid flows down the tank wall and evenly covers the burning liquid surface to improve the fire extinguishing effect.

　　6. The diameter of the inlet pipe of the foam generator shall not be less than the size specified by R.
