      1. Execution standards:

Overhead cables with a rated voltage of 1KV and below shall comply with GB12527-1990 and use IEC502 and IEC227 as reference.

The rated voltage of 10kV and 35KV overhead cables GB14049-1993 is based on IEC502 (1983) and IEC840 (1989).

      2. Product Usage:

Overhead cables are suitable for transmission and distribution systems of overhead power lines with rated voltages ranging from 1 to 35KV.

      3. Usage characteristics

The rated voltages are 0.6/1KV, 10KV, and 35KV, respectively.

The temperature for cable laying should not be lower than -20 ℃.

The basic high temperature for cables during short circuits (with a maximum duration of 5 seconds) is 250 ℃ for cross-linked polyethylene insulation.

High density polyethylene insulation at 150 ℃. Polyvinyl chloride insulation at 160 ℃

The maximum long-term allowable working temperature for overhead cable conductors: PVC insulation shall not exceed 70 ℃. Polyethylene insulation should not exceed 70 ℃; Cross linked polyethylene insulation should not exceed 90 ℃.

The allowable bending radius of overhead cables: single core cables should not be less than 15 times the outer diameter of the cable, and multi-core cables should not be less than 10 times the outer diameter of the cable.

      4. Technical indicators

      Working temperature of overhead cables

The rated voltage of 1KV overhead insulated cable should not exceed 70 ℃ for PVC and polyethylene insulation, and 90 ℃ for cross-linked polyethylene insulation; Overhead insulated cables with rated voltage of 10KV and 35KV, with cross-linked polyethylene insulation not exceeding 90 ℃ and high-density polyethylene insulation not exceeding 75 ℃.

The conductor resistance and tensile strength of the cable are shown in the table below.

      Insulation resistance of cables:

The insulation resistance of overhead insulated cables with a rated voltage of 1KV is shown in the table below. Finished cables without insulation shielding for 10KV and 35KV should be immersed in water for no less than 1 hour and subjected to a direct current voltage of 80-500V. The stabilization time should be no less than 1 minute and no more than 5 minutes. The insulation resistance of a 10KV rated voltage cable should not be less than 1500M Ω KM, The insulation resistance of lightweight thin insulation structure cables should not be less than 1000M Ω KM. The insulation resistance of cables with a rated voltage of 35KV should not be less than 4100M Ω KM。

      AC voltage test of cables

Overhead insulated cables with two or more cores and a rated voltage of 1KV should undergo a voltage test of 3500V for 1 minute. The single core cable should not break through after being immersed in room temperature water (additional electrode) for 1 hour. The rated voltage 10kV overhead insulated cable is immersed in water for 1 hour at room temperature and then subjected to voltage. The ordinary insulation structure is 18kV, the lightweight thin insulation structure is 12kV, and the 35kV is 63kV. The experimental time is 1 minute, and the cable should not break down.

      Partial discharge test

10kV cables with insulation shielding should undergo partial discharge tests on coiled cables immersed in water. An AC voltage of 9kV should be applied to the cable, and the discharge capacity of the cable should not exceed 20pc.

      5. Requirements for the use of overhead cables

When laying cables, the ambient temperature should not be lower than -20 ℃. When laying below -20 ℃, the cables must be preheated.

When laying overhead cables, the bending radius of overhead insulated cables with a rated voltage of 1kV should not be less than 6 times the outer diameter of the cable, and for 101kV and 35KV overhead insulated cables, it should not be less than 15 times the outer diameter.

The installation method of cables, like bare overhead lines, still needs to be fixed on the insulators of the cross arm, but the distance can be appropriately reduced.

The cable should be used in conjunction with specially designed overhead insulated cable metal appliances.

During the installation and storage process, attention should be paid to the sealing of cable ends to prevent water ingress and reduce their performance.

The long-term operating temperature of overhead cables (i.e. the long-term allowable working temperature of cable conductors) should not exceed 90 ℃ for cross-linked polyethylene insulation and 75 ℃ for high-density polyethylene insulation; Polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride insulation should not exceed 70 ℃; Cross linked polyethylene insulation during short circuit shall not exceed 250 ℃; High density polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride insulation should not exceed 150 ℃ and the longest duration should not exceed 5 seconds.
