      There are many types of annealing processes for steel, which can be divided into two categories based on heating temperature: one is annealing above the critical temperature (Ac1 or Ac3), also known as phase transformation recrystallization annealing, including complete annealing, incomplete annealing, spheroidization annealing, and diffusion annealing (homogenization annealing), etc; Another type is annealing below the critical temperature, including recrystallization annealing and stress relief annealing. According to the cooling method, annealing can be divided into isothermal annealing and continuous cooling annealing.

      1. Complete annealing and isothermal annealing, as well as complete annealing and weight crystallization annealing, are generally referred to as annealing. It is a heat treatment process that heats steel or steel to 20-30 ℃ above Ac3, holds it for a sufficient period of time, fully austenitizes the structure, and slowly cools it to obtain a nearly equilibrium structure. This annealing is mainly used for casting, forging, and hot-rolled profiles of various carbon and alloy steels with hypoeutectoid composition, and sometimes also for welding structures. Usually used as the final heat treatment for some non heavy parts, or as a pre heat treatment for certain workpieces.

      2. Spheroidal annealing is mainly used for hypereutectoid carbon steel and alloy tool steel (such as steel grades used in the manufacture of cutting tools, measuring tools, and molds). Its main purpose is to reduce hardness, improve machinability, and prepare for future quenching.

      3. Stress relief annealing, also known as low-temperature annealing (or high-temperature tempering), is mainly used to eliminate residual stresses in castings, forgings, welded parts, hot-rolled parts, cold drawn parts, etc. If these stresses are not eliminated, it will cause deformation or cracks in the steel parts after a certain period of time or during subsequent cutting processes.

      Annealing furnace is a national standard energy-saving periodic operation furnace, mainly suitable for heating in heat treatment workshops of steel mills, special steel, mechanical processing, chemical machinery, heavy industry, metallurgical smelting, casting, forging, environmental protection equipment, machinery supporting enterprises, loaders, shipbuilding industry, military industry and other industries.

      The main furnace types include trolley type annealing furnace, well type annealing furnace, box type annealing furnace, hood type annealing furnace, etc. They are divided into high temperature furnace, medium temperature furnace, and low temperature annealing furnace.
