SY-P9 foam adhesive is a modified epoxy single component medium temperature curing film like structural adhesive with a certain degree of self adhesiveness. It can be used for metal honeycomb and non-metal honeycomb splicing in sandwich structures, as well as filling and edge sealing of various components. It can be used at -55~70 ℃ and is compatible with SY-24B and SY-24C adhesive films. Used for honeycomb core splicing, filling, and edge sealing of sandwich structures such as helicopter longitudinal beams, partitions, and lower skins.
[Usage Process]
Surface treatment of the adhered object: 2A12T4 (formerly known as LY12CZ) aluminum alloy bonded parts or test pieces are recommended to be treated with phosphoric acid anodizing surface treatment according to HB/Z197. Aluminum alloy surface treatment can also be achieved by chromic acid anodizing or chromium chemical oxidation. Steel samples or parts can be treated with sandblasting. Composite materials can be polished with sandpaper to a uniform roughness, and dust can be removed with a brush or cleaned. Any metal or non-metal honeycomb core material can undergo corresponding surface cleaning treatment according to process requirements, ensuring no oil pollution.
Adhesive laying: Cut the adhesive film according to the size requirements of the surface to be bonded. When laying the adhesive film, pay attention to eliminating bubbles. If the ambient temperature is too low, you can use a hair dryer to heat and stick it together, but the local temperature should not exceed 50 ℃
Curing insulation time and pressure: The bonding pressure is contact pressure to 0.14MPa, with a heating rate of 1.5 ℃/min~3 ℃/min (recommended). After the temperature rises to 125 ℃± 5 ℃ (part temperature), the insulation time is 2.0h ± 0.5h, and the cooling rate after curing is 1.5 ℃/min~2.0 ℃/min. The specific curing process can be adjusted slightly according to the process of the relevant adhesive components.
Packaging, transportation, and storage
Packaging and transportation: Using polymer film as the isolation layer, packaged in rolls, wrapped in polymer bags, and packed in cardboard boxes or wooden crates. According to the transportation of non dangerous goods, transportation below 4 ℃ should not exceed 10 days or at room temperature should not exceed 5 days.
Storage: The foam adhesive should be stored in an environment with a temperature below -18 ℃. The foam adhesive has an effective storage period of 12 months from the production date. Expired foam adhesive can still be used after passing the factory inspection, but the total storage period shall not exceed 24 months. The external exposure time between 4 ℃ and 28 ℃ should not exceed 5 days. The cumulative external exposure time at room temperature should not exceed 20 days.
