However, it also has the defects of insufficient compactness and poor heat transfer effect under low heat conditions; The spiral baffle heat exchanger realizes the spiral flow of shell side fluid, with a relatively smooth change in fluid velocity, and can effectively eliminate dead zones and backmixing phenomena.

      Heat exchanger is not only a universal process equipment widely used in various industrial sectors such as petroleum, chemical production lines, fertilizers, power, metallurgy, transportation, etc., but also an effective device for waste heat recovery and utilization. Shell and tube heat exchanger is currently a commonly used structural form of heat exchange equipment in thermal systems. The support structure of the tube bundle is the key structure of the shell side, which can generate the desired flow pattern of the shell side fluid and is an important factor in determining the heat transfer and flow resistance performance of the heat exchanger. Different shell side fluid flow patterns result in significant differences in the heat transfer and flow resistance performance of the heat exchanger.
