The applicable process is suitable for the dispersion, emulsification, homogenization, and mixing of materials such as cream, emulsion, and suspension agent.
The principle of intermittent high-speed homogenizer emulsifier: High shear dispersion emulsification is the efficient, fast, and uniform distribution of one or more phases into another continuous phase, and in general, the phases are immiscible with each other. Due to the high tangential velocity generated by the high-speed rotation of the rotor and the strong kinetic energy brought by high-frequency mechanical effects, the material is subjected to strong mechanical and hydraulic shear, centrifugal extrusion, liquid layer friction, impact tearing, and turbulence in the narrow gap between the stator and rotor. After high-frequency cycling, stable high-quality products are finally obtained.
The high rotational speed and shear rate of the emulsifier are important for obtaining ultrafine suspensions. According to some industry specific requirements, Yiken Company has developed the ERS2000 ultra high speed shear homogenizer on the basis of the ER2000 series. Its shear rate can exceed 100.00rpm, and the rotor speed can reach 40m/s. Within this speed range, turbulence caused by shear forces combined with specially developed motors can be utilized. The shear force is stronger, and the particle size distribution of lotion is narrower. Due to its extremely high energy density, no other auxiliary dispersing equipment is required.
