The construction of two-component polyurethane sealant mainly involves the treatment measures for the expansion joints of the water transmission culvert, and the construction site is the expansion joint between the concrete pipes of the culvert. The work content of two-component polyurethane potting glue construction includes the removal of closed cell foam board, treatment of expansion joint surface of box culvert, mixing and brushing of gel, glue injection, cleaning of sundries, etc., as well as the procurement, transportation, storage, deployment, glue injection, inspection and acceptance of various materials required for the completion of the project. The two-component polyurethane potting glue provides the materials and auxiliary facilities required for the completion of the above project.
The construction process of two-component polyurethane sealant is as follows:
Dismantle closed cell foam → polish and clean sealant groove → mix colloid → load gun → brush interface agent → inject glue → clean sundries.
The two-component polyurethane sealing groove is formed using the reserved method. During the construction of closed cell foam board, a reserved closed cell foam board (with the size of 3cm joint width and 3cm sealant filling depth) shall be installed at the position where sealant needs to be filled, and installed together with the split closed cell foam board. Before filling two-component polyurethane potting glue, take out the reserved closed cell foam plate to form polysulfide sealant groove. The groove of closed cell foam office shall be removed according to the design drawings, and the surface must be cleaned strictly to remove dust and oil stains and ensure that the base course is dry. The groove and joint surface are repaired with wire brushes and handheld grinders, and cleaned properly. Before sealing, the two-component polyurethane sealant should be cleaned of any debris, mortar lumps, and oil stains on the surface of the sealing area, and wiped once with a clean damp cloth. After inspection, the base layer should be free of defects such as unevenness, cracks, and sanding before proceeding to the next process.
