PS852 two-component polyurethane sealant components:
PS852 two-component polyurethane sealant is a product with stable waterproof performance. It is a two-component sealing material mainly composed of liquid polysulfide rubber with - SH groups at the molecular end and - SS bonds in the molecular chain, and metal peroxide as the curing agent. After mixing the two components of PS852 two-component polyurethane sealant in a given ratio, it is cured at high temperature to form a rubber like elastic body.
Application scope of PS852 two-component polyurethane sealant:
PS852 two-component polyurethane sealant is used for connecting and filling construction joints in building materials such as civil engineering, transportation, and precast concrete components. Polysulfide sealant is used for sealing connections at roads, bridges, runways, underground pipelines, joints, as well as expansion and deformation joints in tunnels and buildings.
Precautions for using PS852 two-component polyurethane sealant:
1. Buildings must be kept dry, clean, and free of oil stains.
2. Before construction, the primer should be applied to the surface first. After the surface is dry, a 50mm wide protective tape should be applied to both sides of the gap 10mm to prevent excess PS852 two-component polyurethane sealant from dirtying the surface of the structure during construction.
3. Mix one bucket of white PS852 two-component polyurethane sealant (component A) and one bag of black curing agent (component B) thoroughly inside the box until there is no color difference. (Note: Due to different climates, component B should be more abundant in winter and less in summer) A: B=10:0.8-1.2, and a small test should be conducted before use.
4. Fill the mixed PS852 two-component polyurethane sealant into the joint with a mortar knife or glue gun, compact and fill it, and then use a putty knife with a width of ≥ 10cm to scrape the sealant flat.
5. After applying PS852 two-component polyurethane sealant, remove the protective tape and avoid water and rain for 24 hours. (The surface drying time is ≤ 24 hours, and the test can only be conducted after 7 days. The performance will be fully achieved after 28 days.)
