1. Treatment of sealed surfaces:
Before using Lutong polysulfide sealant (adhesive) for construction, it is necessary to remove oil stains, attachments, dust, and other debris from the adhered surface to ensure that the adhered surface is dry and flat, in order to prevent poor adhesion.
2. Filling backing material:
Fill the joint with backing material according to the design requirements.
3. Apply primer:
For projects that require the use of primer, or for sealing areas that have been immersed in water for a long time, primer needs to be applied to the adhered surface and dried to form a film. (Prepare primer, please specify in advance when purchasing)
4. Preparation of sealant:
When using polysulfide sealant (adhesive), please mix the two components evenly according to the given mixing ratio in the instructions before use. Whether machine mixed or manually mixed, the color should be uniform and without color difference. When mixing, precautions should be taken to prevent air bubbles from entering. When applying glue, precautions should be taken to prevent air bubbles from entering, compact, and fill the sealed area.
