      Catalytic combustion is a purification method that uses catalysts to oxidize and decompose combustible substances in exhaust gas at lower temperatures. So, catalytic combustion is also known as catalytic chemical conversion. Due to the acceleration of the oxidation decomposition process by the catalyst, most hydrocarbons can be completely oxidized by the catalyst at temperatures of 300-450 ℃.

      Compared with the thermal combustion method, catalytic combustion requires less auxiliary fuel, consumes less energy, and has smaller equipment and facilities. However, the promotion and application of this method in industrial production processes have been affected by issues such as catalyst poisoning, replacement of catalytic beds, and high cleaning costs.

      The directional valve with low working temperature switches at a certain frequency, so that the two heat storage bodies are in a state of alternating heat storage and release. The commonly used switching cycle is 30-200 seconds. Simply put, it means heating the heat storage body first, then introducing air and heating it to high temperature, sending it into the furnace to mix with the flue gas (to reduce the oxygen content, the purpose is to reduce the nitrogen oxide content), and then mixing it with fuel for combustion. It should be noted that in regenerative combustion, the regenerative chambers are paired, with one used to heat the air and the other heated by the flue gas. After a cycle, the heat storage chamber that heats the air cools down, while the heat storage chamber that is heated by the flue gas rises in temperature. In this way, through the reversing valve, the two heat storage chambers exchange functions. At this point, what used to be the exhaust port has now become the burner, and what used to be the burner has now become the exhaust port.
