GRG (Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum Products)/Fiber Reinforced Gypsum molded products - thin and strong, amazing molded products that do not contain any toxic chemicals. GRG specifications
1. General matters
A. Scope of use
1) This specification is applicable to the installation and fixing of reinforced glass fiber gypsum molded products (G.R.G) inside buildings.
2) Before construction, detailed drawings must be drawn based on the design drawings and approved by the supervising personnel before they can be applied.
B. Materials
1) Submit samples and obtain approval from the supervising personnel.
2) The products moved to the construction site shall be inspected for quality and quantity by the supervising personnel.
3) Supervisors should inspect and approve products, and in order to avoid damage or impurities during transportation and handling, they should be packaged before being moved in.
4) GRG moved to the construction site must be installed with angle materials and other items in a well ventilated area (humidity below 70%, temperature between 16-29 degrees Celsius) inside the building that can avoid wind and rain. They should be stored in batches according to their varieties and specifications, and should be stored separately to avoid load concentration. Properly protect and manage, avoid damage or foreign object contamination.
5) Fastener hardware: In terms of specifications, it is necessary to use products approved by GRG manufacturers and comply with their special specifications.
6) Filler: Modified silicone sealant. The GRG surface, color, and material at the joint area must not be contaminated, and approval from the GRG manufacturer is required.
C. General Construction Matters
-Before commencing the project, installation drawings must be submitted and approved by the supervising personnel.
1) Before processing GRG, it is necessary to conduct on-site inspections and draw detailed construction drawings based on the design drawings and specifications, taking into account the construction status and errors, and obtaining approval from the supervising personnel.
2) The construction detailed drawings include floor plans, three-dimensional unfolded drawings, and detailed sectional drawings. Each drawing should provide detailed information on the location of fastening hardware, including windows and openings, insulation methods, fire hydrants, inspection ports, electrical switches and sockets, as well as the treatment of expansion joints, curved surfaces, contact areas with foreign objects, and consistency with surrounding surface materials.
2. Processing, manufacturing, inspection, and storage management of GRG
1) In principle, the processing and manufacturing of GRG should be carried out in the factory according to approved construction drawings. Only in cases where on-site processing is required, such as local size changes, can on-site processing be carried out.
2) After the GRG processing and manufacturing of each part is completed, the surface decoration, processing dimensions, and shape of the product need to be inspected and approved by the supervisor before being moved into the site. For special processed items or processed products that require special pattern combinations (PATTERN), temporary assembly or installation must be carried out on a flat area inside the factory after laying fake materials and plywood, and must be inspected and approved by the supervisor.
3) Tolerance of GRG processed products

3. Installation
1) Bottom treatment: When performing bottom treatment on the back of GRG, if the construction error of the bottom is large and the structure is not solid, it is necessary to correct and reinforce it according to the method approved by the G.R.G manufacturer.
2) Installation and fixation of windows and embedded objects: Before conducting G.R.G bonding operations, all windows and window frames, embedded or exposed pipes, and other related objects on the GRG bonding surface must be installed and fixed in the correct position without any omissions.
Provide appropriate maintenance and protection from G.R.G bonding to completion cleaning, so that the GRG surface material is not disturbed by movement, damage, discoloration, etc. after installation and fixation.
3) In order to prevent defects such as fouling, contamination, impact, and positional changes on the surface of GRG decoration, it is necessary to perform appropriate maintenance on wooden boards, stickers, packaging, etc. according to the instructions of the GRG manufacturer.
4) After installation, the supervisor will conduct an inspection.
4. Decorative joints
1) During the construction of building joints, remove the maintenance agent within the supervision personnel's time, and then use GRG manufacturer approved joint filler to maintain a certain depth and make the surface smooth.
2) When constructing joints on walls, follow the sequence of vertical and horizontal joints.
3) During the construction of colored joint filler, conduct thorough testing and ensure that it will not cause contamination due to the infiltration of GRG surface before construction.
4) After bonding GRG, no vibration or impact shall be applied within 7 days.
8. Maintenance of GRG wall surface
1) The lower end of the column and wall foot: after using 0.1mm PE film for maintenance, use foam polystyrene and plywood or use plastic molding materials from the floor to 1.5M above.
2) The lower end of the column and general wall: use 0.1mm PE film for maintenance, and then use foam.
